What was the entrance fee for your first game?

Very hazy now but
As a kid in 1962 I think it was 3d On the John street terrace
Later I can recall it was 6d on the shoreham street but You could transfer onto the terrace for an extra 3d

Free ticket from school, they were giving them away for some reason. Thinking back it was most probably because we were in the 4th division and absolutely shyte. I must have enjoyed it tho, because I'm still here.

Mine was on the south stand too and we used to get there early to get the players to sign all our blades stuff as they walked in.

I can't remember how much it used to be for me, but I do remember on several occasions crawling under the turnstile, and on one occasion getting a belt round the head from the turnstile.

Form memory when I first paid for myself, it was £4.50 for a juvenile on the kop, and that was the early 90s.
