I miss Sheffield, I miss its pubs, its decent beer, it’s people, it’s banter. I miss arriving at Midland station with anticipation (and a quick one in The Station Tap). I miss grubby but familiar buildings. I miss proper gravy. I miss seeing Sheffield United kits on children and car stickers. I miss my family, my mates and nodding at Blades you recognise but don’t know well. I miss pre and post match discussions somewhere on London Road.

But what I REALLY miss is watching the beautiful creation that is this Sheffield United team.
