I think it's fair to say that we're good for attacking options now!

Personally, I think we need a RCB to challenge Bash/give us the ability to push him forward, a CM to compete with Norwood and a GK just in case Henderson gets injured. I don't think Moore is good enough.

I'm not sure we'll get all three but hopefully a couple more. We have a loan spot left, for a start.
 



What we need now is for the season to start and unlike in 06-07 be judged properly, I hate VAR but it may help us this season. When we're in top division we always get the shit end of the wedge, I'd love us to get the rub of the green for once sorry for clichés.

I think McBurnie was already the cherry on top.

Do we need another RCB? Possibly, but it would most likely be cover, which, with Stearman, Jags, Kean Bryan, Stevens, Osborn and Freeman we've probably got a cover there.

Wilder mentioned another midfielder, again, i think it would be a nice to have.

Personally i think we'll do well to keep all the players happy.

Can any of those you mentioned play RCB?!! At a very large push, I'd say Baldock could fill in for a short period (Freeman isn't great in the air).

Stearman and Jags could both play there without problem
 
I think Tufty will judge what we need to add once we've kicked a few balls in the Prem. He'll keep his powder dry until the next window in my opinion.
 
We really need a RWB in my opinion. Baldock not good enough going forward.

A wing back with lots of pace and a clinical delivery for McBurnie is on my wish list.

I’d really like us to start shipping a few players out, with all these signings we seem to have shit loads on the books.
Permanents- Clarke, Ched, Holmes, Carruthers, Jake Wright
Loans- Heneghan
 
Still think we need another CB and some more cover for either WB. That's if CWAK are playing the 3-4-1-2 this season.

I'd love us to sign a player like Connor Coady (although not him, obviously) - a mobile, defensive-minded player who can do a job both at the back of midfield and in defence. Or a time machine to take Jags back ten years.
To be honest, I would also have looked to sign a first choice RWB this summer and let Freeman go, but that doesn't seem likely now.

Bash is my only worry injury wise. Dont be surprised to see Lunny or Ravel in the Norwood position.
 
Ravel would be decent in the Norwood position but it'd be foolish to put that much on him.

Cover for Norwood I would welcome most, and another CB who ideally would be able to play all over the right side of defence.

Ravel played deep for wet sham and they (raved) about him. But, no game time there for us, so maybe later.

Yeah I know he'd be good there, think he played quite deep for Östersund too, but while he's had a good start and is a good lad, there's still the question marks over his application - wouldn't fancy being reliant on him just yet.

Agree. Anybody else is just being greedy (and giving ill-informed 'fans' ammunition if we go down this season). We've broken our transfer record on a near-weekly basis (Freeman £4m, Robinson £8m, Mousett £9.5m) and the signing of McBurnie is beyond our wildest dreams (and Wednesday's nightmares...)

Spot on. There is a danger of getting carried away with all this money flying about. Save a bit for the January window, when we have a better idea how this new player jigsaw fits together. I'm sure Wilder has a good plan, but the fans (us) are already worrying about how all this new and existing talent will get enough game time. :)

In all fairness, if we'd come up and not strengthened our side (or attempted to strengthen) then you could perhaps accept players wanting to leave if the clubs ambitions didn't match the players.

The reality now is that we've given ourselves a really good chance to not just survive in this new division, but kick on.

Whether we will survive is another thing, but I doubt anyone will be wanting to leave right now.

The only concern would be if the best players aren't happy with their own contracts and it seemed that only Duffy has expressed this view, however, he may have now back tracked, but we'll see how that one plays out.
