Forgive me guys if this has been mentioned in one of the many threads speculating on the next manager but......This could not have come at a worse time to recruit a new manager. We could find ourselves ( or more specifically the new manager could find himself) in the same nightmare position that Speedo was in after KB had messed up the summer signings. Will he have enough time to assess the situation and be in a position to recruit in January. Would this strengthen the position of Carver who should be aware of what Speedos targets were....and will they still come?. If Carver is still in place by the new year the boards may have their hands tied....everything points towards the wisdom of a quick appointment
