What happens if Stevens gets injured?

Since Wilder refuses to play Lafferty there and won't give Norrington-Davies a run (no idea if Bryan can play there but I'm surprised he's not in the squad if fit), what exactly happens if Stevens gets a serious injury on 1st September?

I really can't understand why, in two whole seasons, there's never been a plan b.No real attempt to sort out a plan b or see if a plan b would actually work. I believe Thomas played there in the cup last season. Lafferty may have done a half as LWB. It strikes me as odd that Norrington-Davies (or alternative) hasn't had some kind of run out.

It's not two whole seasons though. Stevens has only been here for 1.02 seasons.
