Anyone know what happened with the CAS in relation to West Ham's appeal?

They asked for a submission ages ago and I'm starting to think maybe I missed some news as I haven't heard a bean.

I thought they said something about the appeal not being considered until December?

Not 100% though.

Dunno if this has been posted before but I've just seen this on the BBC site

Sheffield United chairman Kevin McCabe has called for the governance of the Premier League to be overhauled after his club's relegation last year.

"We really need to get a restructure of the governance of the FA Premier League," McCabe told MPs.

"Our relegation was in many ways down to the inadequacies and lack of proper governance at the Premier League," he said.

"They are under-managed. They hide behind setting up an independent panel to penalise a club that's breached the rules and believe that alleviates their job to govern the game.

"We've got to accept the commerciality and business that's attached to football now, but it should never overtake sport itself, and that's where governance has got to be improved."

Too right!

"Our relegation was in many ways down to the inade

more like our relegation was down to being shit and not been able to gain points to stay up!! why don't we all sue everyone for everything and not accept the fact that we were just shit when we went dow. lets not destroy football tevez is an innocent victim of all this and we lost points because we were shit not because tevez played. He was shit for most of the season for west ham and cost them points so lets accept it an move on!!!

tevez may well be an innocent victim, however wet sham are cheating scumbags. lets just sue the people who cheated then shall we? that would probably be the fairest outcome, you ****

****!!! you obviously have 6 toes on each feet, do you not realise tha the whole of football will hate ust and the further repercussions that us chasing some futile cause when punishment was handed out already! we signed up for the rules and they were served not saying they were right but we are becoming a desperate bunch of losers lets just get back to the prem and beat them!!

beat the rules? yh we'll sign some players illegally, lie about it, and do whatever the fuck we want, just get some mates in the FA and it'll b fun. good idea that mate thinkin like wet sham now arent we! nice

what about us breaking FAPL’s rule U18 stipulating that Steve Kabba couldn't play for watford agains us. i'm just bored of the whole thing we are becoming an embarrassment to the whole of football. what happens next do we sue warnock who relaesed unsworth who scored the pen who sent us down??? thats how rediculous it will become if the case is one beacuse we have no case we should have stayed up didn;t missed out and have to get on with it! tevez and mascharano cause west ham more problems than it was worth for the first 25 games of the season and im not defending them but they would not have down there in the first place if it were not for that unsettling effect. either way we beat them 3-0 with tevez in the team and blew it lets get on with it in dignity

We should give it a go. :)

My my, you're an intelligent specimen.

The Kabba matter was investigated, and nothing came of it.

We've become an embarrassment? That will be the Sheffield United who were roundly supported by Premier League members, and who have consistently had the support of neutral (i.e. not Wet Sham and Day Before Thursday) fans.

Are you feeling alright?

Possibly, but what is certain is that through all that time, they shouldn't have been playing. End of story.

Night night.

Ordinarily, I'd ban this illiterate West Ham supporting troll.

However, he's making such an embarrassing arse of himself that I might let him stay.

I've not heard anyone use the word '****' for ages. It's ace!

Indeed, but in this case, I feel our new friend was using it during a period of self-reflection...

I feel like Officer Eugene Tackleberry after missing some serious bullet action :( :(

I have no doubts that he'll be back SEB.... perhaps when he's got over the headache induced by writing so many "words".

It takes some commitment and concentration to make such a hash of the English language so he might appear around dinner, just in time for Balamory on CBeebies. (PC Plum is his favourite... nothing like a good, strong male role model for the kids to follow)

Pfffttt! Kids nowadays! In my day it was Magic Roundabout and the strong male role model was a camp dog, a cad on a spring, a moronic snail or a spaced out hippy rabbit.

Still, without this role model we wouldn't have our own Happy Hippy:
dylan200-thumb.jpg :D :D :D :D Like, er...far out, man!!

Hur hur.

In a post he opens by quoting Roy Keane "you are one of the fans that can not even spell football never mind understand it." he goes on to name-check "Gragham Souness" and "John O'Sea".

The Irish, eh?

You could at least have got the better of the two songs ......

And i thought it was just me that didn't compute!
