Let's introduce budget ticket pricing (the impact to turnover would be minimal) & let's create a fortress & proper match day experience.

Rather than allowing the Yorkshire working class vibe limit us, let it define who we are and let's spin in to attract investment.

The idea of budget ticket pricing is a good one although turning the ground into a fortress would prove too costly. There would be four turrets in each corner, we'd have to flood Shoreham street, John street, Bramall lane and Cherry street for the moat, and only one drawbridge could be a severe crush hazard at the end of the game. I just dont think you've thought it through properly. On a serious note, why would a working class vibe limit us, not withstanding the need for investment? Look what happened to West Ham, the self styled working class football club. Moved from the heart of their community to a soulless bowl that nobody can connect to. Ridiculed for not being West Ham anymore. You'd already touched on the point that ticket revenue is minimal in the grand scheme of things so why the need to double the size of the capacity? For the plastic fans who'll leave in droves at the first sign of relegation to then play in half empty stadiums in the championship. Sheffield United has always felt like a working class club to me, it's not something to be ashamed of( I understand that's not what you were saying), just be careful what you wish for because serious investment can take the heart out of the club. We haven't played a home match yet and there are issues with ordinary, young people not being able to get tickets. 5 quid for a pint inside the ground? Still a working class club? All football clubs are meaningless without their fans. Let's hope our club, which to be fair has been fantastic with pricing in recent years, doesn't lose sight of that now we're in the Premier league.
