BBC Breakfast's Dan Walker,mol lowing a 10 second footage of yesterday's celebrations from the players lounge (gee, thanks Beeb, a full 10 seconds!) he then interrupted the woman who does the sport to say, "my wife and her family are all Sheffield Wednesday supporters, so we won't be spending too long talking about that" and moved swiftly on to the next topic - what a twat. It's just breathtaking what these people get away with.

Dan who? It'll be even better next season now the Piggies are sure promotion is nailed on. Wonder why they're called deluded. They really need to check what fans of Cabbage Heads previous clubs thought of him after the initial euphoria.

Hard to be outraged today, JD, but my levels of outrage will reach outrageous proportions later in the week prior to United playing outrageously at Stoke and taking the Championship in outrageous fashion.

shocker a national television station only dedicates 10 seconds to a team who have gained promotion to the prem probably finishing 2nd, what did you expect??? great achievement but its not really national news, all in all i think the media has been excellent with us this season

Why don't you write to the BBC and make exactly the same point?

Highlight the reason why Walker's prejudice is unacceptable as there are thousands of United fans who were looking forward to an objective commentary about Sheffield United and their achievement in being promoted to the Premiership. Make the point that Walker's bias isn't objective journalism, so maybe the BBC should consider a journalist who is objective and knowledgeable to report on United's success.
 
Toby Foster's phone in at the moment is about United and how good going up will be for the City.
He's just had a Pig on from some Pig fanzine. She was really struggling with our success lol. She had to get it in about how many fans they took to Preston with nothing to play for ha ha. :):):)

Chris Wilder has really done them over good and proper and boy are those piggies hurting inside. :):):)

I actually take this a positive. It just shows how much they must be hurting over there.

I doubt Walker is too bothered about either Sheffield club but he will have witnessed first hand the sorrow and lamentation of his in laws over the weekend.

After all of the shite that was flung our way between May 2012 and September 2017, they deserve much more than what they have had back since. This weekend was a defining moment, but with any luck things will get even worse for them and much better for us.

What gets me about the Beeb is that it's English Prem then invariably, 'meanwhile, in Scotland, Hibs remain unbeaten after a draw at Aberdeen'. I know it's TV rights and all that but even so. Seems like foreign countries have more coverage and take more of an interest in matters outside the Prem than we do.

Dan Walker is a a nice guy but unfortunatly he's a piggy. Did anyone see when he was falling over himself when interviewing Waddle some time ago? Told Waddle he was his hero.

No pigs can take the shine of what we have this weekend.

I like Dan Walker. He’s one of the better sports presenters on the Beebs books along with Chappers. I’d rather listen to him than bore fests like Linekar and Shearer.

He has a favourite Sheffield team then so what? So do I and I am enjoying all of the squirming in pig land that this season and last has provided. Can’t wait for next year and hopefully the start of many years of dominance.

I just wish they could get that twat Vaughan on so that he can try and think of bullshit reasons why Wednesday are bigger than united despite the divisional difference. The more the pigs squirm the happier I feel. Can’t wait for some of the shit on footy heaven from the deluded who will be desperately trying to hide their despair whilst they are dying inside.
