There are few if any top managers who are not good in interviews

A track record of being at a club for a short term maybe pointing to something different to what we want over a three to five year period.
He may be the best we can find in which case he will have my support for so long as he is here.

This is the point - any manager we have will have a number of questions over them - perhaps only done it at a lower level, perhaps done it at a higher level at some point - it's not case of us managing to avoid that criticism. The tiny few managers who do aren't coming to us.

We can at least set the bar above "not done it at any level, ever"

It's baffling that some people would entertain that, on the basis that they talked a good game on Sunday.

I’m not sure I’m willing to risk our one season with full parachute payments on a manager with no track record and only two decent performances since March.

It’s two years with full parachute payments and one with reduced.

But it’s easy to employ hindsight and look backwards on thousands of appointments and pull the odd success story out - Frank Lampard aside who did what a monkey could, in my opinion.

The fact is, most managers prove to be shite. Very few do anything of significance, and it’s the only valid pointer to use.

Another off night for him and the coaching team. Did not impact the game at all. But by God the senior players let him down tonight. He wants to have a bit more courage in selecting younger players. Giving sub players 3 minutes of a match when we are losing is a stupid thing to do and he has done it plenty of times during his tenure. Weird. He also struggles to actually complete substitutions. Again, very odd.

Actually he will still be at the club, in charge of the under 23 ? so he will still be here if it all go's pear shaped and we drop a league { god forbid ) or need another cover manager for a while, there bye killing two birds with one stone.
But like Norwood, while he may be all right for Divisions 2/ 3 you would most surely have to drop him like a red hot brick if we got promoted back .....
