What’s the long term plan ?

The most annoying thing about this season is that there is no plan from top to bottom

Loan signings of which 2 are our best players and will not be here next season and leave us in a worse position than the shit one we are currently in



Then the manager Continuously playing players who are well past there best and over 30 or just not good enough lsharp/fleck/stevens/Osborn

It was clear from day one Slav didn’t have a clue about his players he continuously plays sharp up front when he should be behind mcgoldrick/Mcburnie/Brewster/mousset in the pecking order

He continuously plays fleck & Osborn when there both bang average
He continuously plays square pegs in round holes Brewster hasnt started one game as a no9 he plays mcburnie as a no10 he plays Ben Osborn on the wing

There’s no strategy from anyone at the club and it stems from the prince who thinks he can play NFL fantasy football around the world with his 5 clubs

It’s quite clear to see now why wilder left after Princey told him there will be no permenant signings ( said in the sheff united way podcast)

The club needs a full clear out of the deadwood that’s been here for years
 

For god sake change the record about Sharp, its so fucking boring!

Billy Sharp is the least of our problems infact the stats suggest hes our best player, 5 goals, 6 assists.

2 of the goals were penalties which as per the penalty shoot out again Southampton, McUseless and Brewster are so good at.
 
Probably means Olsen or even Hourihane - which is even more worrying

Which of the plethora of outstanding players in the squad would you use instead of the ones you denigrate ?
Slav has little choice at present, so give him the chance/time to bring in better ones.

Id play mcburnie @ no9 every game in this league

He hasn’t played a minute as a no9 this season
 
The Prince said in preseason that this one is shit or bust. We go for promotion. If we fail, then next season we look to sell some assets and rebuild with a fresh squad and around younger players.

This is what SJ is working to and this is the reason why Brewster and McBurnie are nowhere near it. Because in the here and now, they don't offer as much as Sharp. Embarrassing for them that that's the case, but c'est la vie.

That shows how niave the board are. Anyone with a shred of football knowledge knew this squad was nowhere near a promotion team and this should have been a consolidation and start to rebuild season.
Instead we've recruited the wrong manager and wasted money on silly and probably expensive loans of Hourihane and Olsen.
It's now going to cost us a huge amount of money when we sack Slav and his bloated entourage.
Our priority now is to stay in the Championship and replace Slav with a young, ambitious manager who can rebuild us.

....which does make you wonder what he's doing (or not doing) in training. He's getting zero minutes pitch time and I reckon there'll be a reason for that.
 
If you exclude all the games in which Billy Sharp has scored and created goals... then he has scored and created 0 goals.....not good enough....
