I am still not convinced he will be the manager next season.

Neither is Kevin McCabe . That sanji bloke or whatever his name is still may be spot on . Think jury might be out.

Haven't really seen or witnessed a resounding vote of confidence for Adkins, but I suppose it means bugger all that in the overall scheme of things. Managers end of term report with lessons learnt may sort Adkins fate out one way or another.

Thing is , who is there out there, who could get us out of this league. Nobody .

We won't know if he is being sacked until he has brought in his preferred new players and had a pre season with them, maybe even a game or two. It's the blades way.

If Adkins' job is safe, there's absolutely no reason why McCabe, at the fans forum, wouldn't have stated in no uncertain terms that Adkins is going to be the manager next season. So to me; either McCabe is undecided, or Sunjihi is right.

Does that make any sense at all?

If Sunjihi is/was right then Adkins is going and McCabe isn't undecided...!?!??

If Sunjihi is right, McCabe isn't undecided - correct, hence the inclusion of "or" as opposed to "and". "Either McCabe is undecided, or Sunjihi is right * and McCabe isn't undecided. *

* A part of the post I had deemed unnecessary to include, as it really went without saying. Obviously this proved slightly beyond your limit of understanding.

Obviously...or McCabe has decided to keep Adkins, as he's stated previously and you're clutching at straws..as per...

No the part we have to play next year is to get behind the team and the players and make Bramall Lane an intimidating place, unlike the quite place it's been this year. Let's scare the living day lights out of the opposition with the noise.....
Given the absolute shite served up most of this season, Adkins and the players are lucky they were met by resigned silence rather than the boos they deserved. It's the owners, manger and players who need to improve, not the fans.

Well that will be part 2 of what we do provided that the Blades show some quality and desire on the pitch

I personally believe there a very good chance Adkins will resign. Despite some of his actions this season, he's no fool. He knows that the board and fans expect promotion next season and if he doesn't deliver he will get the sack. When he is fully aware about the exact budget for signings next season he will realise, if he does not now, that putting together a promotion side is going to be almost impossible.
Its already been said by McCabe that the expectation is that more academy players are to be utilised. If he is in a position where it is just not possible to put a promotion team together, with the budget restrictions he is having to work under and the reliance on young players, he may decide a strategic departure, to protect his reputation is his best option.
He could resign and say it was due to broken promises over transfers and still maintain his reputation, however if he stays as manger under conditions where he cannot deliver and the sack is inevitable, he may struggle to get another decent job. Adkins resigning by the end of May is a real possibility.

His stock has already fallen substantially after failing with Reading then failing with us.I doubt he could expect to be first choice for any manager's job outside League 2 if he left the Lane this summer.

If he stays, he'll see next season as his best chance of restoring his reputation
