Westfield Upper

I’ve got a season ticket in the Westfield corner and I wouldnt tar it with the same label as BLUT.

Westfield’s atmosphere has improved no end over the last 2 years with far more ST holders and members/ regulars sitting in the same seats every game now, and the singing sort of blends in with south stand G and H.

The BLUT still seems pretty quiet in contrast. I suspect it’s because the support there is current far more transient. It’s harder to get up and get a song going amongst strangers...unless you’re off your head.

I sat in the BLUT for the Fulham and Hull games which were both cracking, could hear a pin drop. Not my scene. Conversely the few times I’ve sat in’the Westfield corner it’s been great

It should be the place to go for both view and atmosphere but unfortunately no one's bothered about creating anything better than we currently have. Including the club.

That's a thing of beauty blades95 . Sure, the 'opposite corner' (Pukka Pie Fuck-Up Corner) is an abortion and one which the architects should have been immediately called to account for, but how many grounds are both characterful and visually pleasing, without being a standard 'bowl'? As bad as the PPFUC is, it's better than Wendy's 'crows nest' crap.
Us old 'uns will remember that corner (Shoreham Street/John Street) used to be a pitch-black, concrete staircase which was a disaster waiting to happen. Rather like Hillsborough still is.
