How I would love for the mighty Blades to tonk them this season.

That is all

I'd rather tonk Everton should've been relegated all those years ago and were never punished.

I’d sooner tonk Southampton first......then Everton......then Liverpool......

I don't who we beat, aslong as we stay up, we can move on next season, the season we get to play PSG, Barca or Real!!

I tend to think we’ll do better against the better sides. The teams with similar ability to us will take our threat a little more seriously and prepare accordingly.

Would find it hilarious if we beat Liverpool....that’s the one I’d love to win the most.
+1 on that. When we got promoted my 7 a side pals were all very complementary for us Blades. Except for the one Liverpool fan, who responded with "defo going to watch liverpool batter you next season". Lets see about that.

They are the most precious fans in England.
Maybe it’s my imagination but I’ve noticed that wind-up radio stations like Talksport never target Liverpool FC.
The reason is that Liverpudlians are ultra sensitive about any jokes or criticism of their team. They would flood Talksport with complaints.
Manchester people can laugh about themselves but try a similar joke about the city of Liverpool or their teams and they see it as a personal attack.

Take recent events. Rahim Sterling went to the press to explain he wanted to move from Liverpool to Man City in order to win more honours.
That was a big no...no.....because Liverpool has tried its best to create a national hatred towards Stirling for having the audacity to leave their club.

Only last week the Liverpool youngster Bobby Duncan has accused Liverpool FC of a bullying culture.
Noticed how it’s hardly been in the news?......it’s because the media are extra extra careful regards running negative stories about Liverpool.
It’s not worth the hassle. The Liverpool fans have been running a campaign to make sure the agent of Bobby Duncan is run out of football.

Speak to Liverpool fans and they have a pride about not supporting England in world cups...,think they prefer Ireland.
They also say that they have the most special fans and other clubs don’t understand what it means to be a fan of a football club.
They are also convinced that the FA and the PL are against them and tried to undermine them by creating the Louis Saurez racism incident.

Normally 1 result doesn’t mean that much for either club in a long season.
However one suspects that defeats for Liverpool and Man City will be very rare this season.
So if we beat them, it would create shock waves around the world and it would possibly stop LFC from winning the league.

Didn't Sterling also say he experienced racism at Liverpool?

All this talk about racism in football and that one story gets memoryholed.

Whereas Sheffield United are now in the Premier League, the quality of threads on here are at best mid to lower League 1.

It's all a bit beige.

What I would hate to see is like in 06/07 beating Arsenal and still going down, I'd take 1-0 against Liverpool sods law they'll lose 1 game a season why not us to beat them. I don't mind Liverpool football club very good but, their fans are moaning whingeing twats the whole world is against them. I could write something but out of respect I won't, they think everything is a conspiracy and the world revolves round them.

Apparently a Danish newspaper printed cartoons of Bill Shankly and Bob Paisly resulting in a fatwah and 17 burnt out embassies. And an elderly teacher has gone into hiding after her class named its teddy mascot 'Dalglish'.

I can’t say I’ve noticed but I’ll pay more attention now you’ve mentioned it.

When I was growing up it was all Liverpool, they had so much influence over the media, always first on MOTD etc. So I grew up detesting them. As bad as Man U became (same thing, they became media darlings and the first choice of the armchair fan) I never disliked them as much as Liverpool, because they knocked them off their pedestal.

Every year they fail to win the title, I have a little chuckle.

(I did hear some comments on Duncan last week, but quite defensive and supportive of Liverpool and I was under the impression that they didn’t realise he was Gerrard’s cousin, or know much about him at all.)

I would love us to just get over this obsession with West Ham......move on.....it happened...get over it.
I’m so over it I didn’t realise this thread was about them, that’s why I’ve just been posting about Liverpool on it.

My only beef with them is that I’m subsidising their stadium. They should let away fans in for nowt because we’ve already paid.

I'm double subsiding as a Newham resident. So they should pay me to go

No obsession here. But that wouldn't stop me wholeheartedly enjoying it if we beat them. Tevezgate doesn't define our relationship with West Ham but given how condescending they acted towards us, it adds a bit of spice
