West Ham or Chelsea tonight?

Have they said when the new season will start?
I think it should pretty much carry straight on as they'll all be well ready after these 9 games.
No player can say they haven't had a break this year!

I think it's the perfect opportunity to test the winter break system that is the supposed reason for poor performance at summer tournaments.

Especially with the Euros next summer.

And for the Qatar world cup, the December after.

They've got the winter world cup in a couple of years so they might as well factor that in now and arrange the schedule so it fits around that. I'd like to think we'd be back in the ground as fans by the time the new season starts but I can't see that at the minute.

Dont think a full season of behind closed doors games would be much fun.

I missed the tonight's latest VAR fiasco. What happened this time?
Just 3 and half minutes to decide whether Antonio was interfering with play or not during a goal mouth scramble, letter of the law it was right to disallow the goal but as ever VAR is being used to dissect incidents to such a stupid degree ruining the flow of the game. It's almost as if they seem to be looking for reasons to disallow goals. If there is no glaring error after 10 seconds of looking just go with the on field decision. When Soucek scored his perfectly good "second" goal he didn't celebrate almost waiting for it to be disallowed....

Gotta be FLC, West Ham have laughed at us for years
Don’t particularly like Bournemouth, but would love to see the trio of Krul, Grealish and Rice trudging off on the last day of the season to relegation
Add to that I always have a soft spot for ex Blades, want them to do well (except against us) so for Brookes and Ramsdale would prefer them to stay up over The vastly over rated Wiltshire and English Irish English Declan

In what way is Wiltshire over rated ?

I have always considered towns like Bradford upon Avon and Devizes to be most appealing and the people there to be of a pleasant disposition and most accommodating to visitors . :)

And my Nan loved their farm foods 👍

West ham deserved that Chelsea looked well below their best. Its always a mystery how teams like West ham can play that well but be so indifferent in other games

Happened to us on Sunday haha

Lunny scores, gets ruled out, defender gives away a soft pen and we're 1-0 down.
Except it was offside, and it was a pen, apart from that, good post.

Partly down to the opposition. Chelsea’s defending was shocking for the last goal. It’s like teams always ‘having a bad day’ against us, we tend to make them look crap. And Man U made us look awful, but did the same to Brighton the other night (and Brighton weren’t playing in 30+ degrees weather and had better match fitness, as we did against Arsenal).

Lack of a clear plan both on and off the pitch.

It's incredibly difficult to improve the team in this league in terms of quality whilst still keeping all those traits that got the team promotion, as Blades have shown this season with a £60 million+ outlay, with many arguing there has been no improvement to the first 11.

There are some very good players at West Ham. If football was about the individual quality of 11 players, rather than the sum of those 11 parts, West Ham would be higher in the table.
