As for the rest, meh. Verrips looks nowhere near these high balls (I would have thought the last two days training would just have been defending set-pieces. I suspect not). Berge shows a few sparks of life but meh.

Here's a thing though, I do not understand why we've got our slowest strikers on the pitch against the lumbering slowness of the WBA defence. Burke and Brewster would at least get round the back.

If them two are our other alternative what a mess we are in.

I think Mcgoldrick has always missed lots of chances like that going back to our promotion season but was easier to overlook. Don’t get me wrong he has been fantastic for us but maybe time for a rest

Sharp will score goals if we create chances in the box. All he’s done is try to win free kicks by backing into Goliath at centre half. He’s fuck all chance so why play him? We need freeman in midfield, Burke and Brewster up top. Push balls in between full back / centre half and try to turn them. Or alternatively, smash hopeful balls up to them to send straight back at us.
oh and stand in front of the throw in taker ffs. (Not you Osborn if you are reading this)

Definitely, not a natural goalscorer and when he can’t hold onto the ball what else does he bring? Need a 10 flair player also, never replaced Duffy, and if all that was true about him asking for more money I don’t blame him I’d have paid him whatever to stay.
