Big Sam and little Sammy must be making sacrifices to the footballing gods. 2 missed penalties and loads of other chances missed, and that free kick - Mason surpassed himself on that one.

Agree with this. Bang on. Obv we are nearly done, but if we were to stay up we'd need to catch the likes of Brighton snd Newcastle, so Fulham and/or WBA taking points off those is good for us, as long as thats all they do!
The continuing problem is we need to find some life in the corpse that is SUFC!

Staggering isn’t it? I learned that rule when I was 8 and the exact same thing appeared as the “What happened next?” round on Question of Sport.

I remember David Johnson doing that against us for Ipswich. He hit the post but netted the rebound without a defender touching it.
