Since Robinson wasn't even in the squad, I assumed he was also injured. Any confirmation of this?

How anyone can put Billy in the same sentence as Robinson, Bryan, Lowe, Rodwell, Foderingham, etc. just belies belief.
What exactly has Billy done wrong? When he plays, he gives everything. He still scores goals and he'll be feeling this every bit as much as any one of us.
Quite how he gets pigeon-holed along with that set of rubbish is beyond me. We put up with utter fucking shit like Walking McBurnie and then complain that a legend who is still desperate to play for the shirt has 18 months left on his contract and can't get in the side. How many of those fucking sitters we tossed off last night do you think BS would have missed? Unbelievable!
We have a lot of problems at the moment but Bill isn't one of them.

"Only dragged that one 4 yards wide Flecky"Still say they should carry on with it- film them doing shooting practice with us shouting āinspirationalā messages.
And, of course, āRUBBISHā"Only dragged that one 4 yards wide Flecky"
"2 yards over the bar that time son, keep goin Moose"
"That one just about reached the goal-line Oli McB - try hitting it a little harder"
I like watching these videos and I am sure I am not the only one in here. Podcasts are no good for the likes of me but I dont moan about itAs discussed in the pod if we see them pratting about on social media this week or tweets about sticking together then I might lose my shit. Wilder should tell the social media team to piss off away from Shirevliffe for a few weeks. Until we win a game the fans have zero interest in McBurnie a tash or watching someone lift a few weights. Its cringeworthy.
People commenting on Bash & Baldock along with Egan i don't understand, they are our anchors at the back but spend so much time covering other players/positions it is going to impact on their own performance overall, it must be a nightmare to be a "senior player" in that team with so many weakness' all over the pitch and having to take responsibility for teammates that are not up to the job - I think a lot of people miss that fact!

I'm aware of the point being made and it's bollocks (imo). The 'point' is 'he is still the best finisher we have' (possibly with the exception of a fit Mousset), he's done nothing wrong at all, and he is still fit enough to get a shirt ahead of crap like the useless Walking McBurnie who seems to be a 'shoe-in' every game. I personally don't see that changing next season either, so the decision to rightfully reward him at the end of his career after all he's done was a correct one. The decisions to extend Rodwell and Jags, Bring in Fotheringham, etc. I'll agree with. The point being made is that Billy Sharp is not a Premier League striker and at 34 (35 before the season ends) he's at the end of his career. Giving him a long contract was clearly a mistake. No one is questioning his commitment. 29 games for us in the topflight and 4 goals. Many of those are obviously from off the bench but his all round game is not good enough for the amount of goals he scores.
If the ball drops to sharp in those three chances (MCB, moose and Brewster) I'd bet my house on it he's on a hatrick. He's an out and out goal machine in the 18 yard box. He's the most clinical striker we have, and if he played I wouldn't expect him running the channels. Just to perch himself in and around the 18 yard box.The point being made is that Billy Sharp is not a Premier League striker and at 34 (35 before the season ends) he's at the end of his career.
