Olsen so far has seemed very shaky, sure he makes a few nice saves but he seems to have absolutely no confidence, no communication with his (admittedly very flakey) back 4 and doesn't seem to command his box. On the other hand from the little we've seen of Wes I was impressed, he made a few decent saves and got out to claim stuff, so, would you put Wes in for a few games or stick with Olsen? Personally I'd give Wes a go.

Which do you prefer sickness or diarrhoea?

Mmmm, Wes, I have little confidence in Olsen our defence probably feels the same.

I would definitely give Wes a run of games now. Not been impressed at all with Olsen.

Guarantee he gets a motm for Sweden. Can't understand why he's been so poor for us. Everytime he plays for Sweden he's class. Similar to Pickford, never really puts a foot wrong for England, not great for Everton.

Olsen reminds me of our lass when she’s given a choice of tables to sit at in any establishment we care to visit.
We sit at one table usually the one I was naturally drawn too, then she looks around and says she doesn’t like it here goes on walkabout body swerving various tables. We up sticks and move table while she looks around secure in the knowledge that she picked the wrong table.

Look at other fans' views about Wes. He has done okay for us in a limited number of starts but was known for being error-prone before he arrived. This was why he cost us nothing while Olsen cost Roma 12 million. If we still had Moore I'd bench Olsen for sure, but not sure we can be more confident wlth Wes.

I'm hoping the parallels with Ramsdale will continue and he'll come good. He came highly rated, not a great start and his confidence has clearly suffered.
Olsen clearly isn't a vocal leader, so one of the defenders needs to step up and take control. I was defending Ramsdale at a similar stage last season, I'll defend Olsen this time.

Keepers that get exposed regularly, rarely look good. He'll get blamed for yesterday, but could nothing about the first or second. The third he should do better, but so should the defence.

Olsen definitely needs benching, it might give him a kick up the arse.
Unfortunately Slav seems to keep rewarding failure, so I can't see it happening

You are right there is a few that need dropping but he seems to stick with them week after week. Next match is ideal time to make REAL changes with Norwood been banned he should try some wholesale changes and drop Norwoods mate Fleck along with giving Olsen a rest to. Can not believe this team had one of the best defensive records in the prem two years ago. Whats happened? Not having a go at the manager yet because he has not had a penny off the board to alter things ,see what January brings. One thing is clear some of the present squad want shipping out. So fed up of seeing the same old flops week after week making the team sheet.

Think we were hoping for a Henderson type loan performance and we get error prone instead. Can’t help having a poor back four in front of him either but I hope we have identified a permanent No1 replacement to sign in Jan. This is last position for a loan signing in my book because it tells the other keepers that they have little chance of playing - in the old days we had competition for this position. I hope we have at least identified some potential signings….

Olsen seemed to be injured at the end of the match against Spain. He still managed to make a good save to steer a shot onto the bar before Morata scored on the rebound.

It looked like he might have tored a muscle in the abdominal area. We will see if he can shake it off or if Wes will have to go back in.

Olsen's not looked the great keeper or presence we expected of an international keeper who'd just done great in the Euros, he's not done great at all but he'll settle down.

Wes, come on eh?? It's David Cotterill syndrome this, he's vastly improving in folk's opinions by not playing. He makes some cracking saves but he looks shaky as fuck and constantly comes haring out, he makes Paddy Kenny look chilled. I'll stick with the international keeper ta.

Hi Stegosaurus here

What a choice. Like picking which STD to have.

Let’s not forget that after the first lockdown Henderson conceded more in those games than the whole of the previous to lockdown season ( excluding manure away)
He was exposed constantly and looked like he’d had enough tbh
Doesn’t matter whose in goal of what’s in front offers no protection
Olsen has looked edgy is that because the defenders in front of him aren’t doing g their job ?
I think it contributes without a doubt and put Moore in their it would be the same

Olsen certainly hasn't started all guns blazing but neither do I think he's been as bad as some are making out.

Should have done better with the last Blackburn goal and was involved in the mix up with Robinson.

In real time I thought he was to blame for Millwall's first but having watched it back a few times I'm not sure what he could have done. His positioning was fine and the ball was above his reach.

He's also very vocal despite what some are saying.

Considering the career he's had I think there's more chance of him coming good than being 'dogshit'

It seems to be in vogue at present to over-exaggerate how bad players are.
