With Baldock back we're undoubtedly a much bigger threat. Lundstram has really grown as a player these last few weeks, and today looked very good.

The last few weeks have been shit, and today it carried on with a stupid decision from one of our most reliable players. Shit happens, unfortunately shit has been happening for the last month.

Now we've got Baldock back, we're clearly back to being better at football than most teams in this league.

The Fleck thing might mean this run carries on for a few more weeks. We'll see. Embrace the feelings of frustration and disappointment, we're too good for it to last much longer.

We look dangerous going forward but don’t take enough of our chances. We can’t defend. Need to strengthen JTW otherwise the slide will continue.

We've had a bad run of luck more than anything. Replay these past few games a 100 times each with the same squads and same tactics and we win most of them (and that is especially true today). Keep the faith. Onwards and upwards.

If that wasn't a top four side, we would have the points in the bag. Next week we'll be alright.

We played really well tonight..can’t fault the lads at all and I don’t think Wilder will...
UTB!

Let's just all enjoy the journey .......or aren't we bothering with that now.

I will enjoy it better when we get to 55 points.

There are warning signals flashing here. The Sunderland game is now huge. If we get anything from Preston or Villa without Coutts and Fleck it will be a bonus.

11 vs 11 we were the better side all the way. We didn't even look too bad 10 vs 11. Individual errors and bad luck have cost us of late.

Result aside,we made a good Bristol side look 2nd best...we absolutely battered them 2nd half before the sending off..luck just not on our side lately...Can't fault the performance, deserved all 3 points.

We've been in shocking form (results wise) since Coutts' injury and we go into our next three games significantly weaker again.

It's a testament to what Wilder has built that so many are still so positive. I'd be the first to admit that I tend to be a little more negative than most but at the moment I'm not seeing what others are seeing. I really hope I'm wrong and the rest of you are right.

Can we really be unlucky all the time?

Or is something else going on?

Well with the long range goals specifically I've always said that isn't bad luck. Counter to what a lot of fans think, they can be defended against, our lads just choose not too.

Wilder said it himself after the Birmingham game, saying Fleck should have closed his man down. Unfortunately no-one chose to do it tonight.

I’m seeing a group of players who are, hand on heart, mid-table Championship in quality (but with the best work ethic and team spirit on the league) playing a style of football worthy of World Cup winners, led by the best manager outside the Premier League. The result is turning out to be consistently high levels of performance and inconsistent results.

The optimism comes from some of the poor results not befitting the good performances and knowing that if we play like that all the time we’ll win far more than we’ll lose. Also the best manager outside the Premier League is systematically improving the quality of the playing personnel one position at a time, so we will continue to improve.

Everyone wrote us off before a ball was kicked, but here we are feeling a bit disappointed that we’re not higher than fourth. I’m pretty happy with that.

I am surprised they are a top 4 side. They were wasting time before a goal was even scored and struggled to string any passes together at times.
agree.. i thought they were powderpuff and very side to side.. i thought they were pretty crap and that’s why everyone is so disappointed

I'm as happy as I can be after a defeat. The boys showed they are back!........ But all those chances deserved a better end product.
