So just to clear this up David, Killa said a few months ago that he was in discussions with the club about a new contract, then last week he said nothing had been discussed.

Yes maybe so discussions don't mean they made an offer. Don't want to get in to an argument with you or Jim were all blades aren't we? I in this case am siding with the player i was quoting the other players as examples of being forced out instead of wanting out. If this is the case with killa am starting to think so. Before the transfer window we were all desperate to keep him so if he is that important to us make him our highest paid player. If he wants a "silly amount" then yes sell him in January. In any case i just want us back to winning ways.

Well we are in opposite poles anyway but I'm guessing we have the same goal.

I don't believe BT was forced out by any means, he wanted more money and we wanted to discuss it at the end of the season. He wouldn't wait and wanted to goto Stoke, fair do's.
I think the 20K offered to Killa is a good offer. If he doesn't want it then he should be sold in January as well.
What I would like to see is the some of the money generated through sales invested in the team. I think £4-5 Million should be available as we had bids of £1.8 down for Smith and a contract of £3.5M for Lita. This money should be used to bring in players in January if not then I would like to know why we are being told we don't need to sell yet we aren't reinvesting anything like we are bringing in. However there needs to be the players available who want to come.
