I agree it's a poor day and time but on the plus side (for me personally):

1) My kids are off for half-term so it means they can go without any hassle from the Missus
2) I normally work on Saturday's so it avoids me having to take a day off

On the original plans they were going to change the direction of the pitch and stands etc but it was unworkable and along with the delay in building it was all built the same way!
