A friend of mine gave me a heads up on this knowing I’m taking my kids for the first time; seems quite strict, an A4 sized bag, no food and drink etc

This is the bag policy then there’s a further link there to prohibited items.

Hope it’s useful, see you down there!

Can't see anything in the link re no food and drink.

Another crap restriction, I have flown over for events which are right at the start of an extended stay in the UK, now I have to be inconvenienced by finding a bag drop before and after the match. Watford introduced it when we played them, it was funny watching a bloke tell the steward who was being really draconian that the oversize bag he was carrying had just been part of his purchase at the club shop. It’s a stadium for heavens sake not an aeroplane.

Why does the stadium have a bag policy?
Safety is everything. That’s why we carefully review public safety and stadium security policies every year, looking for ways to improve them.

By limiting the size and style of bags people can carry in, our bag policy enhances safety inside and outside the stadium. How does this make it safer? Plus, it speeds up the security screening process. It actually does the opposite

How is this good for fans?

As well as making everyone feel safer, Exactly HOW does this make everyone feel safer? In reality it makes people feel irritated. this means less time standing in lines at the turnstiles – No it doesnt it means exactly the opposite

By limiting the size and style of bags people can carry in, our bag policy enhances safety inside and outside the stadium. Again, Exactly HOW does this make it safer?

Im not saying that anything goes. Yes of course you should be safe at an event like this. Yes alcohol should be restricted. But these restrictions have less to do about safety and more to do to with stopping people bringing in their own refreshments and having to pay excessively high prices for basic things like water and a packet of crisps.

The food and drink isnt mentioned in the link but NO food and drink are allowed in, confectionary ( sweets ) are, water fountains are on all concorses

We are parked about twenty minutes walk from jjmoons on the high street if you want to leave your luggage in the car.

No bags? Anyone wanna buy our lasses ticket then? :(
By our lass, do you mean this one?
She's fat but not loppy, doesn't look like she smells but has weirdly small tits. Very very pretty.

Have you tied the knot and kept it quiet?

I went to Wembley as a kid in 1987 (to see some american football), I had to drink a can of pop outside before they'd let us in.

Once inside, there was a man behind us with a bag full of cans of beer. My mum told me to not repeat any of the bad words he was using throughout the game. 🤣

In a nutshell.

I went to a Test Match at Trent Bridge in the mid-80s and the group in front of us had got a suitcase full of cans. Simpler times.

If I can compress my bag to an A4 size, is that ok?

Likewise, ill also be looking after bags and personal belongings. Ill be in a white van with the back doors open and a book of raffle tickets. Ill be there when you get back, promise.

First Test I went to as a kid, vs the Convicts at Headingley, we arrived late and couldn‘t find anywhere on the old non-reservable wooden benches on the Western Terrace. Ended up sat on empty Party 8 (6? 10?) beer kegs.

One of the most vivid memries of my youth.

Even simpler times :)
