I don't think I've ever done this before, so feel free to shoot me down but...
I think we'll win today.
This could be the last meaningful game of our season, if/when we win it's very much game on for the playoffs. If not, they can all piss off on loan to chesterfield for me.
I've read somewhere that we have 4-5 games against teams above us, this is a long shot but if we did make the top 6 we would have been on one hell of a run while picking up plenty of points against all our playoff rivals.
I'm getting ahead of myself now thinking that if we got in the playoffs that we'd win them, but first off- today.
I think we'll do it.

I think we'll win today, and I don't usually say that either. Doesn't mean we'll get in the top 6 though. Which is a real shame because the standard of the play offs will be awful and it would be there for the taking with just a couple of half decent performances.

Of 9 games against sides in the top 6, we've won 1 drawn 4 and lost 4 ie terrible so far.

Millwall have only lost one of their last 10.

I know it improved last week but I'm not sure I share the optimism.

Knew we'd do well. FFS. 90 seconds.

Poor touch from Sammon partly to blame apparently! Then a shocking back header from Hammond. And that bloody Chris Taylor who only signed this week scores in his first game back.

How beautifully typical.

Poor touch, Sammon. Poor touch, Hammond. Counter-attack aimed at the McEveley free left-hand side of the defence.

Cheers, Nige. Cracking stuff.

Why the fuck did he change a winning team which just put in the most confident performance we've seen all season?
I can understand it if we're changing our team to exploit where Millwall might be weak or to try and stop some of their better players-
but 1) Adkins bangs on and on about getting a consistent team 2) it's only Milwall, and 3) Sammon is shite.

I fully expect it's because he wants more 'experienced' players in because it's Milwall and it's always a difficult place to go. That's one of my gripes with Adkins, he worries too much about the opposition and adapts his team and systems too much as a result.

He makes decisions like a man trying to get the sack.

Why change a winning team?

Not as if those coming in are absolute world beaters at this level.

So much for him bringing youth in. When it comes to the crunch Sammon for Adams and Whiteman out has shown his true colours.

Lefts face facts, Walsall are shit, but can you put a price on confidence and momentum?
I've always argued that Adkins is still the man for the job but while his recruitment might be slightly improving his team selections and substitutions sometimes are a joke.

According to bbc, 4 corners but only 1 'shot' so far. Obviously been practicing the set pieces in training.

Anyone really surprised that we've been absolutely awful?

I'm only listening to it on the radio, but it sounds like the Alamo.

Oldham losing 3-1.at home to ten man Rochdale. Maybe puts our win last week into perspective.

Usually I'd think that was nonsense, but the decision to bring Sammon back is really baffling.

UTB

It sounds a much-much better second half.
It never really feels like we have a comeback in us though.

Have we fielded the same side back to back once this season?

Win, lose or draw chopping and changing the line up is not helping.

Not much hope of reaching the play-offs now.

Season over.
Let's all get our holidays booked early.

ah bless HH.. you still thought that there was? i gave up hope months ago. that defeat against Burton was the worst performance i've ever seen in 40 years.worse than the 80-81 side. they were woeful but at least they tried a bit

As soon as Salmons name in the team was known the fans knew it would end in tears, why can't the so called pros see it?

Im the epitomy of an eternal optimist , where sufc are concerned , but we have to oust this clueless has been from the hot seat,
Have we checked to see its not Harry Haslam in an Adkins mask
his selections and comments are straight from the Haslam guide to treading water in lead boots
