Pigs have another game to play on Tuesday Lets hope Brentford tonk em , they have just beaten Hull 5-1 .
Form goes out of the window for this one , its the only thing they have got left to play for this season .
- Where will you be watching it
- What do you predict
- hopefully we will have another Duffy type hero , might be Duffy again !!
For me I cant enjoy the Derby I get to wound up before and during the game !

Opps Just seen other thread at bottom of page delete this one if you want mods !

I’m worried they’ll be that determined to “derail” our promotion push there’ll be some very nasty tackles flying in.

They can’t match us by fair means and if they can take out one or two of our players for a few games they won’t hesitate.

I honestly think we will take the piss. We are on fire just at the right time to rip these cunts a new hole. Madine will get 2.

I daren't act confident before a derby but their best hope is that they show the character we've shown all season and we don't.

Considering the last two times we played them, we failed to score & they seem a better outfit so far under Bruce rather than under the quite frankly useless Jos, I don’t get the confidence of some of our fans.

It won’t be easy, they’ll be fired up as they have nowt to play for, their season rests on us failing nothing else.

My hope is that after a good result against Swansea and them being at home they’ll actually try and come at us a bit which could leave them right where we want them. Surely the fans won’t put up with another cowardly display like at the Lane.

And none of the questioning of Wilder's selection please? It's irritating and based on absolutely nothing of worth.

I know there's a faction who consider themselves amateur managers, but not a single one of us is armed with the pre-match information that Wilder is, so whatever the team picked let's get right behind 'em, especially on the pig's turf. Like every game between now and the end of the season it's three vital points, but as we've been reminded so many times before, the supporters can act like a twelfth man. At their ground we need to be better than them, the supporters that is. It goes without saying that we'll be the better team, CW will see to that.

Well at the end of the day it's a bigger game for them than us, their cup final, we have bigger fish to fry and I don't care if we lose this one as long as we win the two after, but whatever, I won't be watching it because I'm too scared............. Nah, fuck all that.

I will be in the away end.

It's a bigger game for us than them because the points matter much more and we need to make amends for our ridiculous failure to even score a goal against them in the last two, at Bramall Lane.

There's absolutely every reason to be confident, especially with the injured players said to be set to return. It all seems a bit too perfect. That is very unsettling going into a derby. So I can see them fluking something. I am convinced we'll perform, and be the better team. I can just see them scoring first this time, a shitty one out of nothing from a deflection or something. We'll have to chase the game under a lot of pressure which will complicate things.

So I'll say 2-2.... with Madine equalising in the last minute after fouling their keeper.

I don't think there's a single supporter who disagrees with the team selection so then decides to go into the stadium and not get behind the team.

I hope that's correct Ricky. Trouble is, I read far too often on here posters questioning whether this or that player should be playing. Given how well we've done since CW took control I had hoped we'd have a little faith in his ability to select teams on sound evidence. He's not infallible or ever claimed to be, but percentage wise he's about as good as it gets.

Let's hope you're right and I'm wrong.

We all want to finally smash them and Prestman's not around to save 'em, the gaffer really wants that however my fear is that in smashing them the club thinks the jobs done and we then fall away.

A big win could be a negative?

The Blades are the better team by far not many teams have been able to match us the table tells everyone that. We are better throughout the team might not be a big deficit but we will win. They will be happy with another draw and damage control. Wilder and the players will want the win.

Bruce will be ‘massively ‘ up for this and will have his team stirred to the hilt. He wants to beat United cos he managed us, he wants to stop us scoring cos we have Hogan and he wants to stop an ex pig player from scoring. It will be a battle Royale!

Can’t predict the outcome but the chances of a dream result, one of them that we can taunt them with for the rest of their miserable lives is possible with this team.
A 0-5 would fit the bill. However I’ll take a closely fought victory or let’s be reight a 0-0 victory for them would’nt be the end of the world for us either.
C’mon fat lad do what you’ve Dreamed of since first putting a blades shirt on.

Bleedinell I’ve heard it all now,how can a big win be a negative ?....no no no no!

Well we have taken some pressure of ourselves with the magnificent win at West Brom. I’m still not convinced we’ll get 3 points and If results go our way this week and a win means we can get into the top 2 I’ll be even less confident, just because that’s what happens to us. I’d love them to finish the season with nothing to celebrate but I have a feeling that would be too good to be true.

Every game I have watched on sky since the Derby last year we have lost or drawn my missus has banned me from watching any games

I think this will be an awkward game, I sat and watched them v Swansea yesterday morning, and even though it pains me to say it, they played well and Swansea couldn't handle them.
I hope this new manager curse thing isn't about to happen, cos we're that much better than them, I'd hate us to blow this.

Going to West Brom who'd won two on the bounce , smart money promotion favourites was a much tougher ask. We flourished with a makeshift defence. Pigs will lose at Brentford , have less recovery time and fragile confidence. We have returning players and great team spirit and resilience. We can and should do this.

Same here. Don't watch anymore. Just record it or i follow later. I'm not having my bad karma ruining this season.
