Sack the boring safety first incompetent prick and get someone in from the football league who would jump at the chance and who actually knows his arse from his elbow. I've stopped watching England under exciting Gareth for quite a while now.
 
Some classic overreaction here. Who cares about that really? They shouldn't be playing these games after the season finished. Nobody wanted to be playing. But regardless might be a good motivator before the souless world cup.

Probably last game of the 2021/22 "European Season" for the Carrier Bag Firm before we move to "the foreign leagues". Hopefully the Blog will be up sometime on Wednesday.
 
The main stream media will still insist that England are amongst the favourites to win it. I'm sure they do it because they love to see them fail. I'm actually confident that we'll overcome Iran and the US, Wales will be a tough one. Could go any way. 2 wins should get them through to the knockouts then it's down to a bit of quality and luck. Semis at best. QF's at worst.

Indeed, think a lot are still rather bitter because he wanted to join arsenal when he realised they were interested.

Absolutely no criticism for Kalvin Phillips, who yet again proved to be an extremely average footballer and contributed directly to both the opening goals.

I'm lucky in being old enough to remember us having players in the England side when they were still at Bramall Lane. I wonder how long it'll be before that happens again.

People weren't going to be happy tonight, losing 4-0 at home for the first time in nearly a century, let alone to the ghoulash guzzlers, but imho the chants of 'you don't know what you're doing' were not only OTT but a bit pathetic.
 
I half watched England tonight. A much changed team that clearly weren't up for a Nations League game at end of a long season (absolutely fair enough, these fixtures were entirely unnecessary).

Yet the reaction on here, let alone broader social media is oh-so-serious. I thought overreacting was banned on this forum..
 
I stopped watching England football matches about 20 years ago. The national team no longer represents who I am. I actually smiled when I saw the score after tonights game had finished. Southgate and his players can fuck off!

I love my country, but the England football team has nothing to do with the country itself. Southgate is just another pc wanker and the players overpaid mercenaries. So pleased that it was Hungary that bent Southgate over and humiliated him.

It's mid June. Why are football matches still being played? I like football but this is relentless.

No wonder the players can't be arsed, I'll bet they're mentally exhausted. We all need a break from it, but the crooks who run International football have stadiums to pay for, and bribes to pay, so on and on and on it goes.........

Why are football fans who are English but don’t support England so quick to join threads and tell everyone so?
What has changed in the last 20 years that the England football team has nothing to do with the country? They’re all English?
