Converting chances isn't easy at this level, Villa have Snodgrass (who proved a capable goalscorer at PL level) and Hogan (who set them back £12m). Why do you expect us to be more clinical than them?

I just feel like their keeper stopped a few "winners" as well, not that sky go for anything like that.
I'm really down in the dumps about last night, it was a right kick in the bollocks but there was a LOT of positives to take from it. As you rightly pointed out- Evans being one of the biggest.

I'm of the same opinion about last night. I'm gutted and it was a huge kick in bollox but we're having a hell of a season.

I'm same. I can see the positives but i'm on a right downer today and my glass is usually 3/4 full

Pray tell wise sage, how exactly do you play it out from the back when they are playing such a high line and closing every single man down so well. Their pressing was similar to Fulham's and very effective.

Moore had no safe options on several occassions and so had to kick. If you still want to be very critical, you could argue he should have dribbled it out himslef to the half way line.....

Insanity is when you keep doing the same things over and over expecting a different outcome. Not sure about wilderness years cos since Coutts got injured our points per game is probably relegation form which if we do the same next season could be stressful. Whats concerning me most is not so much the individual players but the ineffective we way we play up front.
