Welcome Ryan Leonard

It's good to see that Len is starting to settle into the squad and showing you what we've already seen. I really hope he continues his progress even if it is with you Northern Monkeys;). Still, it's better than him going to Millwall.
With your results since he's been gone, you should give us a refund! ;)

A lot of people saying Duffy had a poor game last night but that's bollocks I'm afraid. If you watched him carefully you would say that at most times he had 2 maybe 3 QPR players on him. Obviously they had earmarked him as one of our major threats.
Now, in this situation, what do you do? Bring him off and let it get back to one on one marking? Or leave him on and try and capitalise on the fact if they're doubling up on him this should give the other players a bit more freedom to find space.
I thought CW got it spot on with the subs last night and his comments about the options on the bench were refreshing. Even more interesting that the versatility offered by the newer recruits means that the variety required depending on the state of the game can be provided largely by the same personnel. It's going to be a very interesting few games coming up.

As mentioned they doubled up on Duffy and it needed someone to break from midfield. Welcome Lunny and a cracking finish.

Yeah, yeah, in ya dreams. If we keep it up we can still make the play-offs. Jeremy Corbyn could also become PM.
He’s a good manager and a good bloke mate. His tan looks far more authentic as well.

How’s Slim the Physio?
Been on a diet, he is so slim line now it's scary!

I don’t think it’s fair to blame Duffy at all about last night. With lundstram and Evans both playing the quarterback role (whatever that means) there was no one pushing forward to play the quick 1 2s and neat triangles that he excels at. I think it showed what an important role fleck plays, as if it were in any doubt. There were plenty of times when Lunny and Evans played it back to the back 5 where fleck would have burst past the opposition player and brought Duffy into the game. There was just too much of a gap between the back 7 and the front 3 resulting in a lot of frustrating head tennis.

Oi! Not all Norvern Monkeys are Norvern......we have a fair contingent who are spread far and wide, and in my case originally from Fulham, now based in Sheffield, and have followed the Blades since 1968. Slowly but surely Len is acclimatising to our team, and his athleticism, plus the ability to do the simple thing well, should enable him to become a fixture for us.

Excellent but he needs to be wary of wasting away...

We saw for the first time last night a glimpse of what Lendog can do.

Oh, Jeremy Corbyn....
