After years and years of underrepresentation, along comes a Calvert-Levin and we immediately flog him.

We only ever had Poleon on loan for a short time.

I'm not sure you can even do a Dominic XI from the whole of football history, never mind a Blades XI.

your probably right if you type footballers called domonic into google, you get matteo and solanke, followed by a cornerback for the new york giants

I am confident we can win. We have an outestanding manager (Harris), and a chairman (Hassall). We can add to the sqad with Burridge (debate to be had there), and as subs Cofie (if we play Bournemouth), and Ebbrell (who else averages a goal-assist every 45 minutes played?) The only team I fear is William/Billy, etc., with a front 3 of Gillespie, Sharp and Dearden, and Foulkes in goal.

You'd make a half reasonable team of Alans too:

Hodgy

Wright Ogden Whittle* Fettis*

Birchenall Quinn Woody Warboys

Young Cork

Subs; Kelly

* Playing out of position. Seemed like a good idea when i started with Woody and Hodgy but took bloody ages to find enough. Whittle never even played a first team game, but don't let that stop.

I'm challenging myself now to come up with a team of Lens, Peregrines and Xaviers so i might be gone a while....
You can't have me in goal. I've broken my thumb.

Right you statos find a malcolm :p that has played for the blades

A Richard connected Blades XI playing 3-5-2:

GK Derek Richardson
D Richard Stearman
D Richard Edghill
D Brian Richardson
M Richard Harwood
M George Richardson
M Paul Richardson
M Colin Kazim-Richards
M Richard Cooper
F Richard Cadette
F Richard Cresswell

Edghill and Harwood only played once each, and Stearman has yet to play. Brian Richardson is the best of the bunch.

I have seen or heard of all of these guys except George Richardson, who was a midfielder in the 1930s if Wikipedia is to be believed.
How could I forget Richard Cresswell! I don't think that eleven would win many games!

I'll be honest, I've not read the thread, but the only Jonathan I can think of was Hunt. I only had the misfortune of seeing him a couple of times. Any others?

Hang on Forte was wasn't he?

Any good ones?

dont forget fortune too, thats 3 quality players you have towards your starting XI
