Despite a common first name I can't think of any well-known Blades who share it.
A quick run through the wiki list of players with over 100 appearances turns up Boyle, Johnson and Sampy, all around the 1920s/30s. Tom Hoyland, from 1949-61, seems to be the most recent.

I demand Wilder finds me a Blades namesake and gerrimin immediately!
 
Brayford, Fleck both even share the same spelling of my name John
