Thought I'd get this one kicked off earlier than usual as Foxy went to fetch tickets this dinnertime...

Who's going and who's dreading it?

i'll be there hopefully, sent off for tickets last week but not hopefull of getting a ticket as we have only been given 9 wheelchair tickets :(
really enjoyed our last time there in our promotion season altho my uncle made us walk from the ground back into town
think we can just manage a win :D

on way back last time i was crammed on the tram with shred's locks in my face.

Resolutly not going to give any money to them so I will watch it on the telly. First one I haven't been to for years but just have a bad feeling about it all.

I have the day booked off, are the tickets on general sale? If not I can't see many being left when they do, will have to make sure I get the time to go get them. Unless anyone is willing enough to get me a ticket when they get theirs :D

Normally I would be getting giddy, as who doesn't love the Sheffield Derby? Under Warnock (yes I know comparison time again) we could take a well educated guess as to what he said to the team to get them fired up for the game. I'm sure Robson is fully aware as to what is at stake here, which is more than just the three points, not that i'm saying his reputation or job is on the line over this one game. However, do you think he can stoke the fire in the players and get them ready for what is going to be a real scrap?

"i'll be there hopefully sent off for tickets last week but not hopefull of getting a ticket"

how can you be hopefully getting a ticket and not hopefull of getting one?

shouldnt it be?
hopefully getting them, doubt we will though?

Back to a discussion about the match rather than questioning lexical choices...

Could any supporter applying by post clearly state which date of sale they are applying for by writing the application date on the front of the envelope.

I could potentially get another two tickets on the 10th January if they haven't sold out and anyone needs a hand.

I REALLY hope i can get the tickets for this game, i reckon they will go before i am able to get them, but even so ill go watch it in the pub

Here's one to keep you in discussion weeks before the match...

It was the difficulties caused by obtaining tickets for this fixture in the past that brought about the implementation of the Loyalty Points.

Now that many people are having to wait for tickets, do you think that the Loyalty Points scheme was a good idea or not?

Not all that sure i want to go to this i can see us getting hammered, pride and passion always got us through with warnock imo, there is none of that with robson, can really see us getting hammered.

I dont know, i think Robbo will tale a back seat and they MIGHT just do their own thing, it seems that everytime wednesday has been slightly involved with us this season we have come on top. I'm talkin about when they were like what, 1 point behind us and we won and won untill the gap got bigger, and whenver wednesday seemed to have overtook us, we came out on top again. perhaps that sounds mental to you, but y'know, just a thought. Robbo should really be askin them how to beat wednesday

Was a good trip last time to Hillsborough weren't it. I remember Jonny running in and out of some scaffolding supports on Leopold Street when we were on way to catch the tram, haha.

Isn't there a few videos knocking about from this day??

Isn't there a few videos knocking about from this day??

They were on Youtube but they removed them... something to do with ITV being gayers.

I'm sure we'll be able to find them and post them for your visual delight :D

Thanks very much. Will be nice to see them:)

Whose on for sitting in Owls side if can't get tickets?

have you got the 2 required stubs for wendy end robbie?

You require 2 stubs to ensure tickets. I believe they go on general sale with out any stubs soon. I may be wrong though.

Not 100% sure that they do tbh mate, I think its classed as general sale with the two stubs, i'd ring the grunters and check.

my mate couldnt get hold of one so i think its what foxy said.

Whats anyones drinking plans for the match?

Same as the other season I should imagine. Meet early at the Lion before a walk through town to intercept the tram at Castle Square. All forum members very welcome to join us, as ever.

Oh yes, Delia on rampage :D
