i'm all for it i see it turning out this way

pigs play remaining games here
pisses off most pig fans and we can taunt them over it
fans destroy things, spray paint on the walls etc
they get a hefty fine to pay to us

:D

Theres a perfectly sufficient stadium at hillsboro park , as they are just below mid table dropping down again itll fit their capacity needs as crowds plummet

Why don't they play at Oakwell? I mean, they are South Barnsley, are they not.

I say that any notion of Sheffield United sharing anything with Sheffield Wednesday should be treat with contempt, ridicule and scorn.

Are you listening, Bassett?

The reason their pitch is a state is because of 44 trotters gallopping over it every other Saturday. They should learn to look after what they have and spend their massive club millions on some decent groundsmanship.

I'll put it as simply as I can - Tell them to fuck off!

We'd have to sell Murphy, Brayford, Baxter and Done just to cover the fumigating costs once they'd had their porky trotters round the place. Fucking tin-pot cunts!

i'd double like that if i could

They should feel quite at home there then

We played at theirs.

he Sheffield Blitz hits Bramall Lane

During the war year of 1940, on the evening of December 12th/13th the ground suffered massive
bomb damage a result of direct hits which decimated parts of the John Street Stand and the
Shoreham Street Kop roof. United played the remaining home matches at Sheffield Wednesday's
Hillsborough ground.

United where able to move back to a patched up Bramall Lane in September 1941.

Fair enough Cyprus, let's say, if the Germans bomb their ground, they can use ours until it's repaired. Let's extend that to if any Germanic people being led by someone with a dodgy tash bomb their ground. Otherwise, no. :-)
Fair?

Oh, and just 'cos their ground looks like it's been bombed, that doesn't count.

Parkerowl :tumbleweed:

"Think it would be quite insulting from their prospective to let us just move in for abit while we make our pitch x100 times better than theirs."

This comment that one of the lady-boys made just evidences, if ever more evidence was needed, just what a set of deluded, arrogant scum they are. They need to spend £1m plus just to make their "beach" as good as ours is now and we're due to have a new pitch ourselves in the summer.

We must consider revenue though ...... if we charged them, say, £1m to play their last 4 games at the theatre of dreams, there wouldn't be much wear & tear on the pitch as the ball doesn't usually touch it when they play. Just have to watch out for the trotter damage as they must dig in when they jump in the air.

Having said that, it won't happen because we could never accommodate all their "massive" home gate of 125,000 fans could we ...........

Why? What's wrong with their ground?

For the ones who haven't been down Attercliffe recently - Don Valley is no more - just a mud heap and building site.

The new technology campus is built but the rest has been flattened ready for the Eagle's new stadia and what other grandiose scheme is planned for the site.

....and just to rub it in - yet another load of public money spent on the World STUPID games and a facility that has lasted ....how long? What a waste - trouble is, the idiots that decide these things spend money like confetti - they wouldn't do it if it was their own money.

Who was that daft bat who watches the blades with a free ticket , who run the council and became a MP ( not him with the dog he supports SWFC ) . He started with tears of joy when Sheffield won the games.

Blame him and his cronies.

Is there only me who has read that pigs talk post right? They have asked about somewhere called Bramhall lane, don't know where that is but it's not where we play.

Let me be clear here brothers...

Firstly, if any Idiot on the board wants this then there will be pickets on every turnstile. Every member of every supporters club would be called to arms, supported by our BBC provisional wing, past and present. The protest would require funding South Yorkshire Police beyond any income generated.

If they played on abbeydale fields with jumpers for posts, I'd try and piss on the jumpers and send them away from the clean side of the city back to where they came.

The money would never be worth the shame...

Oh and Shred would turn in his grave.

Remove this nonsense and quickly,

Quite right, I am told that I was taken as a very young sprog to Owlerton to watch United. I wasn't old enough to appreciate ,even the basics of football;
asking in a loud voice "Why are men playing in short trousers?"

In the seasons that followed, it was not unusual for both sets of supporters to take in games at both grounds.

Few followed their team away, no motorways and little spare cash. According to my Granddad who was around when the Blades were formed, cup matches were the only times that away trips were made in large numbers..

Things have deteriorated over recent seasons with discussions as to who are the best or worst pigs. No problem for me. If some one calls me a Pig, I agree with them ,but clarify that PIG stands for Pride Integrity and Guts

Is there no pig farm near Hillsborough that they could trott about on?
