Remember few seasons ago when no one had seen any Pigs at the Lane derby and they suddenly appeared about 5 minutes before kick off on Cherry St when nearly all the Blades were in the ground. Some middle aged guy had a go at them and they didn't know what to do.

Not as bad as the teeny tiny's on their plastic pull along trikes..kidney punching all in range and running over peoples feet in the supermarkets, and they are everywhere...

How about living in S6 for 43 years. Arseholes knowing your a Blade and attacking me and my Brother ten handed. But the worst thing is having to listen to their continual drivel, shite and total bollocks coming out of their pie holes. To be honest I’d rather tackle ten Millwall whilst holding some daffodils to protect myself than listen to any more of their deluded bullshit. Fuck them.

Was meant to be a gang of them heading down London Road in a van, tooled up. Don’t think it ever materialised.

There always is going to be a mob of them on London Road, never materialises though
I occasionally go for a few pints in Swillsboro and they are pure comedy gold.

They have a different idea of what a city is, Sheffield consists of Stocksbridge, Chapeltown, Ecclesfield, Grenoside, Parsons Cross and they all turn out for a night out in the big city centre...……...Hillsborough corner. Nothing beyond that exists

There's quite a few blades in The Valley

I've noticed every Lane Derby in recent years they bring a little firm to smash a cafe window or knock out a random Blade on BL or Cherry Street far away from anywhere they might be out of their depth or with out a Police line to protect them.
I thought the Hoolie scene was dead,it's like they are trying to claw back a bit of crediblity in the hool stakes long after being nowhere to be seen when it mattered.

If they're heading for The Stag they've got a cracking pint called St Petersberg on there at 7.4%. Let's see if they're hard enough to tackle that...
That’s a tough ask for Carling Black label drinkers. The Thornbridge Russian Imperial Stout. It would be like Napoleon’s invasion of Russia!

We left the pub twenty minutes earlier to avoid all the fuckwittery around the Lane only to catch up with the Wednesdayites giving it the big un from behind a police escort singing the delightful little ditty of “Chrissy Wilder, your daughters a slag”, and lobbing cans of beers, one of which hit Brownie Jnr on the ankle leaving him scared and in tears. Thanks to a kindly steward we got let in through one of the gates, and looked after, and Brownie Jnr was back to normal within 5 minutes and isn’t too put off by it.

Good job they didn’t try and invade Dore. There’s a Dad’s Army of geriatric folk in Nissan Micra’s with hats on, just revving their engines waiting for a skirmish and a trip to the garden centre.
honda jazz mate.. it’s the new rover ;)

Bless your young un mate and glad he’s ok.

I know how you feel. As a parent I’ve been taking my kids since they were old enough to sit still (they’re 20 and 17 now and they still don’t sit still!). But you worry as parents that they are going to see and hear things that might upset them. However, you can’t wrap em in cotton wool either and I think it’s also beneficial for them to see another side of life and learn that it’s just how some folk are and learn to live with that.

The most upsetting thing my eldest experienced was in our own home. We were burgled and it terrified him that someone could invade the security of our home. He didn’t sleep well after that for ages.

I didn’t care that they smashed a hole in our door and nicked the telly. Only that they made him feel insecure by doing so.

The Stag use to have Sky, was the there watching a United there on a weds night back in 97
:(

I think Russ would have been running it then; a big Blade (RIP). Annoyingly you used to get a lot of Unclean in there considering whether it was, mostly down to some shitty Sunday league side who used to drink in there.

Rumour has they were supposed to have a pop at the heeley red lion which buggered my after match drink up as both there and the crown were forced to shut :(
I drove past at 4:30 and there was a ‘mob’ maybe 20 outside with a few 5-0 (Police) vans on the opposite side. Was in the White Lion at 6:00 ish and a lad I know said it was shut then, bar a few regulars at the bar. So maybe the pigs did venture up, not had it confirmed though

I lived at Loxley for a few years back in the early 80s and copped for it on the bus a couple of times ,mainly by a dick called Ebby and his cronies until one Sunday night a lad a couple of years older than me at school happened to be on the last number 14 from Pond St with some other mates. 5 of them got on at Hillsboro corner ,by Malin Bridge they were back off covered in blood and snot. I never had a problem again ,in fact it developed to a nod.

the said middle aged man was I'm sure a deranged ex steelworker type who liked a challenge ,but odds of 50 to 1 were against him .

I’ve never been in the red lion. Is it a ‘result’ to take that over before good honest folk have even clocked off?

Haha not sure mate ! I’ve never been in myself, tend to go White Lion or Crown. To be fair they didn’t look to be of working age if I’m honest.

I left work after 5.30 within earshot and heard some forceful chanting of Blades songs from that direction... but I headed straight towards London Road and saw nowt.

We had a few before the game in the crown, it was boisterous and busy but seen it fuller. We were told last night it had been closed due to over occupancy before the game, bonkers

It didn’t shut before as we went in the Crown about 5.30pm and stopped in there until 7.15pm, it was a good atmosphere but it was very full, you couldn’t shift. There was no sign of any pigs whatsoever.

It was very full Sitters, a good atmosphere with a good pint of Morretti but you couldn’t shift when I was in. It’s a strange excuse to shut afterwards though.

We went for one in there after but a bouncer on the door said we can’t come in as it’s shut due to the pigs coming down there before the game.

I think they ran out of ale before the game. :)

Because he has been away a few times he has seen a few things that I wouldn’t really want him to see, but I’ve always looked after him and he knows that he will always be safe with me. The scariest one was getting bricked at Port Vale, but the one that pissed me off was with an obnoxious old couple at Carrow Road who saw him happy and singing after a win, and the woman screeched, “can’t you just shut horrible little child up”, which really annoyed me and upset him so I told them to fuck off to their absolute disgust,
