Well just be thankful it isn’t snowing.Imagine shovelling snow in this heat.
There's too many melts on the council to begin with let alone the snowflakes that run itWell it's a fact the council wouldn't do it.
Health & Safety and all that.
Wrong sort of rainThis week hopefully will put an end to any drought warnings for a few months so can we have summer.
I'll even put up with the nanny state telling me I'm going to die if I go out or the endless boffins banging on about climate change if we have a decent week.
Bring me.

I was just reading that funnily enough. The Fox
They'll blame it on El Nino

El Niño has begun, scientists say, and could bring record heat
An El Niño event has officially started, say US scientists, raising fears of extreme weather and higher temperatures.www.bbc.com
Your doing the last part wrong. Turn off your water feed at the toilet and use the water you have collected to flush the loo.I've recently discovered that, on turning the hot tap on first thing, I save the cold water that would normally run away in two large jugs (oi - no, not them!!) and thence into buckets outside, to be used for watering my plants.
I also use one jug for the kettle all day.
There shall be no drought as I am saving this city from it, one jug at a time.
Try it?
(This is definitely nothing to do with the fact that I'm now on a water meter and paying far less than Severn Trent were taking on my bills before. Well, not much)

Don’t turn the hot tap on. Simple. When I’ve made a cup of tea with the electric kettle or boiled an egg, I use the remaining water to wash stuff like the flaming air fryer basket.I've recently discovered that, on turning the hot tap on first thing, I save the cold water that would normally run away in two large jugs (oi - no, not them!!) and thence into buckets outside, to be used for watering my plants.

Have you thought of collecting the water from the shower. It uses a fair amount before it's warm enough to get under for a washYour doing the last part wrong. Turn off your water feed at the toilet and use the water you have collected to flush the loo.
The more you water the plants in the garden the less resilient they become.

I thought so too. My roses can't be left to become resilient, they're my babies.…and the more dead they become !
