This kind of high effort response is what he lives for

Exactly. Purchase option only if we go up.They'll all be loans until the end of the season - just like Hogan and Madine were. We won't be able to afford any if we don't go up and probably won't want any if we do![]()
I've just seen this, absolutely agree we need another striker if Mcb is struggling... And yes I'd love to see Ross Stewart as he is excellent, but how much do you think we would have to pay for him... I'd guess Sunderland who are aiming for the playoffs wudnt sell him whatever the offer.. Imo we won't be buying any striker in Jan unless the new buyer is in place and really decides to go for it... UTB..
The point of discussion is about the need for a short term loan to get us there given our injury crisis up top. Not what we do if we do go up.I think Stewart is out of contract either this year or the year after I’d say 4/5 mill is a snip for him
Stewart/Gyorkes/Piroe/Brereton Diaz are all strikers we should be after if we are in the promised land come may

Yes I know but back in the real world we won't be spending north of 1.2 m if that let alone 12 million to buy a player that quite rightly we would jump on if we actually go up.We will need at least one striker whatever league we are in
If We signed a top class striker this January we are almost guaranteed top 2
In doing so, you are creating more of what you dislikeI'm bored, playing with the clown passes a few minutes that's all.

Okay big boy. You pay the transfer fee and wages if you think 4/5m is ‘a snip’.I think Stewart is out of contract either this year or the year after I’d say 4/5 mill is a snip for him

The prince is having to sell because we’re cash strapped & he’s bought the club on a mortgage. Yet he has one last hoorah and buys a player for £5m because it’s ‘a snip’ for the sake of itOkay big boy. You pay the transfer fee and wages if you think 4/5m is ‘a snip’.
I think the Prince is obliged to sell the club due to Saudi investment in Newcastle. As an astute businessman, he will want a decent price for a decent club. The prince is having to sell because we’re cash strapped & he’s bought the club on a mortgage. Aren't you forgetting something, oh king of contradiction, how can we be guaranteed anything when, according to you , our manager is not up to the job?We will need at least one striker whatever league we are in

Archer would be a great option but if our strikers are fit he probably won’t get a start. They’d be loaning him out on the promise of starts too as he’s on the bench at Villa and getting the odd cameo.Realistically Utd should be looking at strikers that aren't getting games at Prem clubs - ones. like Surridge, Dembele, Lowe or Archer.
If you read the recent articles in the Athletic & The Star is suggests we’re struggling financially as we held on to pretty much all of our squad following relegation.I think the Prince is obliged to sell the club due to Saudi investment in Newcastle. My main point is that no one needs loading with unpredictable debt, by purchasing someone who might not fit the club when we have no money or reason for such a gamble. That’s why i suggested that Fallowfield should put his money where his big dumb mouth is, and pay the fee and wages himself.![]()

why not and we have a ready made song for him..I would go for Ross Stewart at Sunlan or Ched Evans @ PNE
FACTS

Ooo ahh Cheddy, Cheddy dum Cheddy do
Gets a five year sentence serving one or two
Looks good, looks fine and he likes a 69
ive got Cheddy on my mind![]()
I suspect a typing error here. Shouldnt the 'It's' be 'I'm' ?It’s quite simple as I have said multiple times
Our squad is the best we have ever had I’d say it’s miles better than the prem one bar a top top striker staying fit
The manager on the other hand is average at best and is very fortunate to have a squad head and shoulders above the rest in the league that carries his managerial abilities
Hopefully I am proved wrong if and when we go up

Oh and you still havent told us which top Amatuer Team you coached with your A class coaching badge. Or maybe it was even as a member of the coaching staff at the professional level.
How did you get on with being accountable to the club’s management: president, technical director, club board, etc?
Id love to know.
hecky has a big decision to make regarding khadra do we persevere with him or use his salary for a loan striker and send him back to brighton personally if weve no cash he has to go back for me we really need an out and out striker to come in next month
As I suspected. Explains everything now.I managed stocksbridge park steels all the way up to the championship league on football manager
im not so sure about doyle and macatee pep may well let us keep them on loan if we go up he wouldnt let them play against city but if they help us take points off citys other rivals its a win win for both clubsI know we all laughed at Florist having to buy in a whole new team and then try to bed them in whilst facing the glare of the Premier league. But I’m worried we’ll have to do very much the same thing to try and survive in the top flight. We simply can’t expect the likes of Billy, George, Egan, Bash, Fleck, Enda, Wes and even Norwood to step up to the Prem again. It would be nice if we could extend the loans of the two Man City lads into next season…But we can’t rely on that happening either.
