Dmac did his best but he looks like he is making the numbers up. Never involved in the game and I feel sorry for him.

If we want to finish in top 6 then we need to a proven pub league midfielder to make up for any occasion Kmac is missing and to put pressure on Doyle for his place.

Or, do as we did today and play 424 as most of L1 is as bad as Vale.

I'd hoped McAllister would be able to do box to box for us at this level, but I don't think he and Doyle will be commanding enough. We kept our good defensive record when he deputised for Doyle in the defensive role, so maybe he should be back up for that role primarily.

McAllister has got a few chances this season, although not many in his favourite position. As he hasn't been an outstanding success I think Wilson should try to give other squad members chances when we have absentees, we may find out that someone else will take their chance to a bigger extent than McAllister has managed.

We're in division 3, we have a tightfisted twat in charge (who seems to be invisible at the moment btw), and we as a club have fuck all to offer any up and coming midfield superstar so sorry mate but get used to it because this is as good as it gets in our predicament. We're not losing, we're near the top of the division so just be thankful that we're doing as well as we are with what we have.

We have missed quality in midfield for ages. McD can only do so much on his own but has no pace and cant / won't shoot. Doyle is ok but fairly limited and doesn't particularly stand out, even in this league. McA is dogger. Flynn is nesh. Blackman looks ok ish on the wing and when Cofie has played there looks worse than McA. Desperately need pace.

Was named on the bench for the U21 game today but that was called off because of a frozen pitch.

There are no U21 games until the new year, so unless there are "behind closed door" games, they'll have to stick him on the first team bench when they think he's ready.

I would put him on the bench tomorrow night but as far as I'm aware this is the first time he will have played in 4 months.
