Looking at all the bedwetting threads on here and attacks on the manager and certain players because we lost a game of football to a good team, i reckon the song should be re-written for these underling "United" fans to "We love United but only when we win."

Or people are angry at a very disappointing night where too many players had an off night and the manager did absolutely nothing to change it. They're entitled to be angry if that's how they're feeling. What are they supposed to say. "I really enjoyed that tonight? We were great? I love watching our midfield play crap and get ripped apart time after time. Osborn coming on? Carrick must be worried now. As for the result, a 3-1 loss at home? Get in!"

Criticism is due and fair after that.

The initial reaction to a loss is always going to be emotional.

We were beaten by the better team on the night. It happens and will happen again before the end of the season.

First defeat since November after a magnificent run and we’re still in a healthy position, so probably best to just have some perspective for now.
