Nigel Clough could play a very important part in us finishing in the Play Offs tomorrow. If we beat Millwall we will be joint 5th and 6th if Brizzle and Boro draw.

Derby losing tomorrow throws open the 5th AND 6th place, not just 6th. Derby's game in hand is against Cardiff.

C'mon Cloughie, we know you still have a soft spot for us...

i don’t get it .. how does this involve burton?

Lets be serious for a Minute, for us to go up and keep the pressure on. We need Millwall - Brum - Preston - Bristol all need to be Wins. Play-offs.

Then we need at least 2 out of the next three, to get the golden ticket to enter the promised land, 100 Million on the Hip etc.

Its Not Just about this weekend..

One game at a time. If we win Millwall we move on.

If we then win Birmingham we move on.

If we can then win Preston we only have to win Brizzle.

What we do with all those clubs when we have won them I have no idea. McCabe and the Prince are struggling to run one club, never mind 5.

I'll get me hat.......

Burton are at home - they'll just bend over and take it. Even Hull put 5 past them.

Still plenty of twists and turns to come. Derby have lots of previous of chucking this away [as did we to be fair but we are a different animal these days.
I agree that Burton might just throw up a surprise here, NC spoiling Derby's party is very possible.

Burton might win because last chance saloon to prolong survival does produce odd results. Look at sunderland in premier league in April & may every year they turned into world beaters beating man utd & chelsea. Also being a local derby could be strange result But really burton are down & derby should put 3 past them. But yes if we win, derby lose & middlesboro draw. Could be 2 between 5th - 9th

Imagine the awful dilemma faced by Burtonians today.

Who will they want to win? The team that they usually support on Friday nights or the one they usually support the day after?

We have to win all four game to have any chance. Simple as that.

Well none of that is really true. We could easily get in the play-offs with only 3 wins, then we could draw play-off games - I assume Moore has been practising penalty kicks - but the main thing is that it really is just about this weekend. Lose today and it is as good as over.

That has to be the aim of course, but your proposition is incorrect. Simple (and factual) as that. I’d take three wins and a draw right now, thanks very much.

When i said this i didnt thibk they could actually win 3-1

Just had a look at Millwall remaining fixtures the have fulham next so that might be the opportunity we need

Millwalls next 3

Fulham
Boro
Villa

This could easily be their last point of the season. Hopefully they draw against boro though.

If we win all 3 we’ll definitely be top 6 looking at the run ins. Have we got the bottle though.

On yesterdays result? No.

fat lady is still not singing.......plenty of points - plenty of teams around us with just as difficult games as us.

We'll beat Brum on Saturday, because quite frankly - we have to, so we will - it's the Wilder way.
