13 mins into the pre-Bolton interview.

'We have enough pace'.

We don't want to sign this quick players....

2 games, 2 losses, and the sale of a young talent. The Sheffield United season has well and truly started!

It's never boring (rarely fun)

We lacked pace before we sold Adams. Now we are really struggling without it.

Well just got back, can I say after sitting through that capitulation if we don't bring in three players with quality, two of them with pace, we are right royally fucked.

That second half was as bad as anything under Adkins or Clough. They had us worked out after half an hour to be honest, and after making it scrappy for the first quarter of an hour in the second, took over and outplayed us.

All a bit early yet. Fleck and O'Connell were very good signings. All the other signings needed to be of this quality, sadly they weren't. Next 4 signings crucial. We certainly need 4 more.

"Do you think you can sign another 4 players before the window closes?"

We do lack pace but it's far from the only problem.

For a start we're nowhere near good enough at winning the ball back. Due to individual players but also the organisation. We need more physicality but the players also need to take on board what Wilder wants them to do when it comes to pressing as a team.

I hope it's just a case of not gelling but that team tonight just didn't seem quite right. It doesn't look like the right balance will be found from what we had on the pitch tonight.

We do definitely need pace though. It doesn't matter what type of team you are or how you play, there are scenarios in every game where only pace will lead to creating opportunities.

We're giving the ball away too damn much. Lack of concentration or ability, I do not know.

In terms of pace, I think we're crying out for it. Have been for years. Our manager doesn't agree.

I think we need to bury a few more of the double digit chances we made.

If we're going to press so hard we will leak goals, especially with that midfield setup. It's thus imperative that we aren't so wasteful if front of goal.

I think Wilder will get us up. Third Blade manager in my time if that makes me one of those bladeys I dont care. Warnock did it it but he got time. Mind you if someone says theyve seen Bassett going into the Lane I'll start to get worried that hes had to bring him in for advice like Micky Adams did ;)

Anyway enough on here Im on nights tonight , got to set off in a bit.

UTB!

Well Crewe's No.22 on loan from Chelsea begs to differ
