Yes we possibly are. Lots of us have been saying this since the start of the season. The worst performance at home was the PNE cup game. Before that we've been very unlucky at home. I dont believe in things evening out over a season but if it were that way we'd win every game at home till the end.Thoughts/views

No we are far from it.Thoughts/views
The statement in itself is too broad to offer a complete answer.
What is meant by 'the best'?
If you mean we are the most effective at winning football matches, then clearly not. We are currently the 5th 'best' in the division.
If you mean we are the best passing side, well again, I don't really know how you quantify that. Who is 'better' at passing - Man City or Chelsea? Well, it's not really possible to give a definitive answer. I thought Swindon were excellent, they created chances, controlled possession and passed with accuracy and purpose... but we won 2-0. So who was 'better'? Likewise, Preston came, smashed the ball into the box towards Davies and beat us 3-1.
We're a good side when we want, and we've also been absolutely dreadful quite often this season too. In reality the 'best' footballing side wins the league. However, peoples criteria for a good side differs from person to person. I believe the best sides have balance and can vary their style to suit conditions and opponents. So, in that respect, I don't believe we are, as we are unable to really change our system/style due to the make up of our squad. I would suggest, despite yesterday's result, Bristol City are making a good argument to be classed the best side, but the word in itself is quite arbitrary without more context.
I haven't said "I think we are" the I being the big clue there. I've only put "we are" then asked thoughts/views. So basically just asking if people think we are or not.The statement in itself is too broad to offer a complete answer.

I couldn't give a shit if we are the best or worst footballing side in the division.
