Yes we possibly are. Lots of us have been saying this since the start of the season. The worst performance at home was the PNE cup game. Before that we've been very unlucky at home. I dont believe in things evening out over a season but if it were that way we'd win every game at home till the end.

I'm sorry but I've seen every home game and we've been shocking.
I'm elated today with the result I'm hoping its the turning point
Im that happy I'm going to Notts.
First game away

Yes, I truly believe that we are the best footballing team in the League.

With the addition of the primary Summer target: the Bearded-one, Coutts and our new Striker, the bearded wonder, Done, we have a side that would be the envy of every manager in the league.

With Basham and Doyle in Mid-field and Kennedy in the back four, I believe that we will score far more than we concede. Our attacking threats, with Done, Murphy, Harris, Brayford, Coutts, Baxter and Flynn to come back, Che, Holt, Davies MM off the bench, now have a serious look about them

Thus, we are now set for the "run" that we have all been waiting for.
With just a little bit of luck and some decent refereeing...Watch us race us the league!

I couldn't give a shit if we are the best or worst footballing side in the division.

We're currently the 5th best team in league one, hopefully that will improve as it's the only stat that matters.

We are generally pretty comfortable with the ball all over the pitch, I don't see any standout hoof merchants any more. The criticism I think we all have is that sometimes we just seem to play the game at a fairly slow pace, lacking in a bit of intensity.

A few play safe balls when maybe theY could take some risks or break forward.

Having said that, with Brayford and Coutts on board, I think we will be a lot more threatening from here on in. Two quality footballers - add that to Murphy and Done (let's hope he continues such a fantastic start), and the likes of Baxter, Adams, Flynn, and JCR (perhaps lacking in consistency but on their day they can be excellent at this level)' we might just kick on from here.

I bloody hope so anyway! UTB

We are the most inconsistent side in league 1.

We are the best footballing side in league 1 , and finish between 7th and 10th . Forget it , we want football that can mix it / change ,depending who we play , and achieve automatic or promotion by the play offs.

The statement in itself is too broad to offer a complete answer.

What is meant by 'the best'?

If you mean we are the most effective at winning football matches, then clearly not. We are currently the 5th 'best' in the division.

If you mean we are the best passing side, well again, I don't really know how you quantify that. Who is 'better' at passing - Man City or Chelsea? Well, it's not really possible to give a definitive answer. I thought Swindon were excellent, they created chances, controlled possession and passed with accuracy and purpose... but we won 2-0. So who was 'better'? Likewise, Preston came, smashed the ball into the box towards Davies and beat us 3-1.

We're a good side when we want, and we've also been absolutely dreadful quite often this season too. In reality the 'best' footballing side wins the league. However, peoples criteria for a good side differs from person to person. I believe the best sides have balance and can vary their style to suit conditions and opponents. So, in that respect, I don't believe we are, as we are unable to really change our system/style due to the make up of our squad. I would suggest, despite yesterday's result, Bristol City are making a good argument to be classed the best side, but the word in itself is quite arbitrary without more context.

And I thought we were the greatest football team, the world has ever seen?

I haven't said "I think we are" the I being the big clue there. I've only put "we are" then asked thoughts/views. So basically just asking if people think we are or not.

Just watched the first half of Villa v Leicester and we are better than both these teams in footballing terms.

The hardest task for us is to get out of league one.

You should because history demonstrates, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that ultimately the best teams (non-Hoofers that play the game as it is meant to be played) will be the successful ones.

Don't forget Leyton Orient....What a squad!
