Stead 750k - bought by sheffield united
Kabba 750k - sold by sheffield united

Compare the 2 players scoring records at championship level.

then compare them at premiership level

Hardly fair.

Regardless, watch Kabba's stock rise in the next couple of years.

as it is hardly fair to compare championship level,

Then compare who actually wants to play for Sheffield United.

It's not just about basic stats, Sharpy, no matter how many times you try to build your arguments around that sole basis. Kabba wasn't happy at the club, I doubt the club were happy with him, a lot of the fans weren't on his side, and we were paying first team wages to what basically amounted to a reserve team player. Why not get shut of him and give someone else a chance? Stead's done more in the two games he's played in than Kabba has done all this season. If a player doesn't want to be a Blade - and that means full commitment, as when you pull on that shirt you should be willing to die for the club - then sod 'em. They should go somewhere else, because they're not what we need at the Lane.

how will the fans react though when he does come back think he had more bad times than good always thought he had a bad attitude

bye kabbs cheers for the mermories esepecially the fa cup goal against leeds thaty goal will live long in the memory

You cant compare them at prem level because kabba has never played in it, stead meanwhile cannot even cut it at championship level where kabba has.

And obviously stead has done more than kabba this season, he's played more.

Im not moaning about selling him, although he didnt get any chances to prove himself. Im moaning about the paltry sum we gave been given when you compare it to players of a lesser ability (such as stead, akinbiyi and keogh).

kabba didnt want to play for the club though, a palyer who doesnt want to play for us shouldnt

So you wouldn't take a potential £750,000 plus for someone who didn't want to play for Sheffield United?

The only thing you can compare is if he wanted to play for us.....

He didn't....his choice!

Stead had been playing a lot on wing for derby, and scored 3 in 17 games, which it could be a lost worse. Apparently had a fair few assists to his name too. And the Derby fans I know was happy with his contribution
