We're staying at 'the beach - all suites'. Got a 1 year old so be useful having a kitchen etc. Not the cheapest but looked good on agoda and got a good price at the time. I've stayed near Galle and Kandy before.

If I remember correctly you didn't enjoy SL. Apart from that particular journey, the traffic wasn't too bad and we loved every other aspect.

No but I'll ask my sister in law and her husband who are civil servants each earning £65,000 a year and who own a property in Sri Lanka in which they holiday for a month in February.

She's Leeds and he's a West Ham fan the twat.
