Norwich last season were one of the worst teams in top division, post-war history (I'm not guessing, it's based on a full comparison based on points/goals per game etc). But they completely capitulated in the unprecedented post-lockdown circumstances. It's not an excuse but it's understandable.

United knew what was coming this season and have produced a similar season. Add in a club in turmoil without a manager and potential financial worries and I think it's fair to say this United season is worse.

I just think they'll have lost a lot of confidence in themselves, and we haven't played proper front foot go for it football for a while, it'll take some time to get comfortable with themselves. Even if we don't lose any of the quality players and have JOC and Berge in I think it's going to be a while before we're running smoothly.

Think an injection of youth and a bit of pruning will help us a lot, and a manager reminding them they're half decent.

I think it's fair to say Norwich weren't functioning for their last 10 or so games. They absolutely fell apart.

Makes me laugh reading through stuff like this. On one hand, our players are shit and we won't be anywhere near the top 6, then on the other hand they're not that shit because half of them will be apparently snapped up by prem teams. Personally I think berge will be the only one that will definitely leave. Egan is decent, but he's 29 and is a head it kick it centre half, they are ten a penny. Joc if he wasn't injured would be of interest to teams, but he is so he's staying. Baldock is a decent rwb and possibly a slightly better rb but again at 28/29 he's not going to attract that much interest and if he does, bogle looks good.

I suppose that trumps all other stats which may skew the real value. I mean, even Transfermarkt (usually a more optimistic site) has his value down about four million and given he will be attached to a relegated club when the window opens, all the executive need to do when approached by Man City or Arsenal with a flat fee is say, "Well, thanks for that. But our fans on S24SU back in 2020 gave him high marks in the games we lost so you'll have to up your bid a bit. We know he only got two or three games in at the end of the season as sub but Niceguyeddie is our advisor on this and it would be 'ludicrous' to accept that offer. Bye."

Kante is a World Cup, Europa Cup, FA Cup, and PL Trophy winner, has played more consistently over a number of seasons. Declan Rice has played a full game in all fixtures this season save for the last game and has been at WHU fro 170 odd games.

It's not all about the goals. It's the consistency and achievements

Theres a big difference mate...they are called Cantwell and Beundia....two quality midfield players who are comfortable on the ball, create chances and can score goals.

Our midfield is genuinely shite with the exception of a Fleck on a good day and Berge if he stays.

Norwich went down because they had a porous defence but they always looked dangerous going forward. Our attack is absolutely useless and as the corny saying goes...the goals are no bigger in the championship.

As it stands we are much more Huddersfield and Stoke than Norwich and Watford.

West Brom are probably more like the Norwich of last year. Shite defensively and prone to heavy defeats. But they have good players going forward, who can played a bit and surprise a few teams... We on the other hand, are plumbing new depths of performance. Can’t keep possession, can’t create, can’t score, can’t defend, can’t be fucking arsed...It seems.
