I was pleased when he came and you can't ignore those cup achievements, but his signings and negative approach to the league in his last season ground me down no end.

I was criticised for saying his slow building process shouldn't be necessary, and the 'you start with a point' mantra was utter bollocks under the circumstances.

Thank God we brought a manager in who not only understood what approach was required as a minimum, but also had the ability to execute it.
