Was yesterday our best performance of the season despite loosing ?

No. Created a lot but also looked the dodgiest we have all season at the back.

Obvious bias and agendas aside.

£20m ? Seriously ?????

He’s good in the air. I’ll give him that. And he does appear to be able to direct headers won, which is a HUGE improvement on the various 50p heads we have previously had 😉

But the speed at which his feet move is worryingly slow, which has a serious knock on effect to any number of other key footballing attributes that you would want a £20m striker to have.

I’ll spare everyone going through the entire list, suffice to say it remains a concern IF he is to be our main #9 this season !!

idiot
Disappointed with yesterday’s performance against an average but cunning side.
Only game we’ve not scored in so all in all probably our least impressive performance.
I thought we were excellent against Palace and very good against a strong Leicester team.
average but cunning ?
We deserve to lose if this arrogance typifies our fanbase
No - big reality check. Didn’t think Southampton created that much either and been at home we should be winning these games. Also might be a controversial view point but I don’t agree McGoldrick’s name is in the dirt now over hearing conversations leaving the lane yet Billy’s getting cheered for a red card ? I haven’t actually seen the tackle he made as I’m at the back of the kop and struggle to see anyway especially when I feel like Saturday everyone in front of me was 6ft tall - was it a straight red ?
game could have been 5-5 both sides had chances they took one of theirs

5 games in and out fans have turned into the massive

Sharp comeback !

Do you have any other skills worthy of particular mention ?

Or can I look forward to further one word reposts ?

Oh I do hope so 😀

Are you sure you meant to quote my post as none of yours makes sense ?

Glad you find your own post funny
I'm sure I will once I can work out what on earth you're talking about

We were profligate in front of goal.
Absolutely bombscare at the back. I lost count of the times Egan followed his man out only to leave a huge unplugged gap in behind and whilst some of our attacks featuring a fast thinking midfield were superb we still suffer immensely losing the ball in dangerous positions.
I know idiots like pinchy won't agree but then He is opinions are largely gash so don't count but if instead of being arse raped or playing a hospital ball our midfield put their foot through it to the corner flag at least we wouldn't concede a goal and knowing it was going to happen one of our faster players could chase it down maybe to our advantage.

Chelsea twice.
Leicester twice.
Southampton.

Shit decision making and schoolboy errors.

We could be so much better off points wise and I fervently hope Wilder sorts that and dosent get sucked into any "dark arts" excuse bollocks. We know every cunt dives so stand them up and don't jump in. THEN fall down when in possession and going nowhere.
We won't win games not playing it smart like it or not.

Doesnt matter how we played in patches, if we can't win games like that at home then we are getting relegated. Simple as that. Looking at our fixtures I don't see where the next points are coming from so we really needed to get something out of those last two home games and we got nothing. Not good.

I guess this season was always going to be a struggle. It's often the case that a promoted team plays well but doesn't score enough goals, and unfortunately the strikers are the most expensive part of the team - for that very reason. United have got to win the six-pointers; do that, and they'll stay in the division I think.

The forthcoming fixtures are tough, but they're tough for most teams in this division. Wilder has to maintain morale, even if the next few results are poor. It's something of a different challenge, a different situation to what he and the team have experienced since he's been here.
