Was the game against Hull Stolen.

I think you get hyperbole from every fanbase if you lose a game the way that Hull did on Saturday. Going from 1-0 > red card > conceding a pen > losing the game after leading for 80 minutes is always going to sting a bit. And when the officials have an impact on proceedings the way they did on Saturday, they're always going to have the blame laid at their feet by the team on the losing side, even if the decisions made were perfectly fair.

I have zero doubt that had the game played out in reverse, and we had been the ones to lose in the manner that Hull did, there would have been utter outrage at the ref's performance on here.

I mean that's essentially the story of half our games this season (substitute 45 for 80) so nice to have it our way for a change.

Hull City owner claims Sheffield United win 'stolen' amid criticism of John Lundstram apology - Hull Live https://share.google/pqshpkTiZZaqB7UhA

Have we ever had a game stolen. Or do we accept a defeat and move on without complaint 😜
It’s only their daft mardy owner having a bleat. Well known for it when at Fener. Probably thinks our referees are as corrupt as theirs and Rosen bunged him a browny.

Whilst they can feel aggrieved about the ref on the balance of the game it was not a smash and grab.

Hull were the better team first half but actually after the McBurnie overhead kick they rarely threatened. We were the better side 2nd half.

We can count ourselves fortunate that they had a player sent off and that we were awarded a penalty.

But like has been discussed Lundstram does lunge in on A.Brooks. It's irrelevant that the ref is in the way. He has a decision to make whether to go in or not and catches him late. It's a booking, he had already been booked.
As for the penalty 3 of ours went down just after the ref said he was watching players for grappling. Bamford on the line one, McBurnie is hauling him back for me.

Aston Villa away the famous goal that wasn't over the line. It ensured Villa stayed up. Look where they are now. Now thats a game to get upset about useless officials and faulty technology. Dulls owner is barking mad and hopefully will be up on a charge of bringing the game into disrepute with his comments.

It was essentially a pretty poor game , not much quality from either team where a mistake or refereeing decision could make the difference. He was right on the sending off and the penalty but could easily have not given either .

If the tables had been turned there would be a degree of bleating from our fans . Its just how it is let's be honest.

Hull reminded me of us during our promotion season under Hecky and last season under Wilder.

They scored early…..then as the match wore on…they decided to sit on their lead and to be fair….altho we did plenty of attacking they looked quite comfortable.
Was convinced we’d lose 0-1 but once they went down to 10 men….the game totally changed.

We were generally poor most of the match (lacking in energy…just a typical end of season, on the beach performance from us really)
but in the last 10-15 minutes we upped our energy levels and totally dominated as Hull lost their heads.

Yup

Either that or we all move on 😴

its not like we have not had 6 players sent off and lost games we led in

happened to every club every season and say was more likely

suck it up tigers and work on your discipline

Both their owner and manager seems to be fruit cakes.

Their reaction to Saturday is nothing short of embarrassing. Be frustrated with the penalty but the other stuff is laughable.

They weren't the best team or robbed.

As for calling Lunny's post out, he should be more concerned with his manager's behaviour.

The irony of their whining is they have had so much luck all season

Still hope they beat wrexham to 6th though

i can think of at least 5/6 games this season we felt the result was stolen,,, but its been like that since 1960 when I first started watching
