Anyone in line with it? I'm at other end, no chance of telling.

I bet he was very, very close to being OK.

Looked very close to me. I really hope he was offside. It's bad enough having to witness our piss poor defence - I couldn't cope if we were robbed by a poor decision as well.

i was also directly in line. it was a bit quick for me to see for sure but my gut reaction was that he was level, so onside!!

I get a horrible feeling we were robbed. He ran from a long way back and was miles quicker to react than any defenders.

I know it's only a point but unbeaten home record still worth having

the penalty seems to have taken care of us being robbed by a poor decision i think!

i was bang in line with their offside goal, and it was deffo offside, no doubt it wasnt offside!!

Did you miss it? I don't understand how you think it wasn't a pen!

I concur.

Henderson ought to have his arms amputated. He gets fouled as often as he fouls, but he should know that referees only see them one way so why bother grabbing at people in the first place?

As for Quinny, a bit quick for me to see. But the flag went up straight away so the linesman was sure.

Was bang in line with it, didn't look offside when the shot came in, but 50/50 as to his positioning when the ball bounced back off their keeper. Would need to see it again, but the fact I didn't howl at the moon suggests instinctively I felt he was off.:(

I thought he was offside, I looked at the linesman straight away and saw he had his flag up so I didn't bother celebrating.

Oh, and the pen was a cert.

I'm exactly the same as you Daz, looked straight over to the linesman, didn't let out a cheer.

I can't say I saw the penalty very clearful but I'm not sure Boothroyd was offside, did any of our defenders appeal?

I was a bit surprised when their goal was disallowed actually. I don't think Boothroyd was offside, it was somebody else. Thought we got a bit lucky on that one, not that I was complaining :D

I don't think our defenders appealed for it, it was more of a look at the linesman in hope kind of thing I think.

I aint sure of the rule but I think if he's onside when the ball is struck by Walker it doesn't matter where finishes it from.

Exactly right Micalijo, the only thing that matters is where he was when Walker hit it.

I was astounded when they didnt show the quinny non-goal... surely it would of been worth the extra 10 seconds it would of taken!!! Instead there was a an interview with the lead singer of The enemy - just because he went to a coventry game???

At the time I couldn't figure how a midfielder would get behind their defence before anyone else did - surely he'd be arriving from deep anticipating the rebound?

But given the complete lack of fuss I can only think he was a mile off.
