Watched this today and it brought back great memories of past players both great and horrendous!!!
Loved the row between NW and Morgs after the late equaliser conceded at home to Wolves!!

It is a great watch, Warnock was/is so old school its unbelievable. If memory serves me correct there is a part in the programme Warnock is discussing transfers with the board, the names thrown around are horrific!

And he loves Michael Tonge!

The board suggest Duncan Ferguson but Warnock doesn't seem that keen! Then comes back with Jon Stead!! I know who I'd have preferred!! We did get Danny Webber in though.

Oh, and, Danny Cadamarteri!! What a bucket of horse shit!!

It's a quality documentary. Personally I thought he was right at the time. Warnock saved us from a lot of expensive mistakes that Robson and the rest followed with...

Best bit for me was Cadamarteri being Ill when he gave his team talk and the waste of a striker, Barry Hayles... But that's for personal reasons as me and my old fella signed up to sponsor his away shirt that season.

Fuck me Barry Hayles!! I forgot about that fuckin donkey!!

I thought the Ferguson comment was more in relation to who was a realistic target - Ferguson was involved in an Everton team fighting to get into the top 4 that season. I remember thinking at the time how out-of-touch the board were to even suggest Big Dunc.

Quality documentary that. Like him or loathe him you can't deny the passion he shows throughout

Love these 'old school, fly-on-the-wall' docs. My favourite was 'Orient - Club for sale for a fiver'. A good clip here. The 'manager' is John Sitton and his hapless 'assistant' is ex-pig Chris Turner.

BTW, a 'young NC' features tonight @ 9.00 pm on BBC4 - The Damned United.
