I haven’t seen what led up to Warnock telling the Wolves manager to eff off and refusing to shake his hand, but if it was just because they lost and missed two penalties, I’m embarrassed for him.
In British football immediately after the final whistle both managers shows mutual respect by shaking hands.
The issue with this game was the final whistle was blown about 5 seconds after the second missed penalty so the Wolves bench will have still be in elation mode.
When the final whistle went instead of shaking hands the Wolves manager sprinted onto the pitch to celebrate with his players.
About a minute later he then remembered that he’d forgotten to shake hands with the Cardiff manager.
So he followed Warnock to shake his hand but Warnock refused telling his to f...off.
However this morning Warnock has been interviewed on Talksport radio.
He said life’s too short to bear grudges and he has no problem with the Wolves manager, said it’s now in the past
And when he meets Nuno again he will shake hands and would invite back to his office for a glass of wine.
