I'm sure he will be with the press and FA.

But is he?

Hunt who went down like a sack of spuds......yes Keef was guilty guv.

But anyone who was at the match will tell of his tackles and general "play".

The tackle on Monty deserved a booking at least.

Warnock points this out after the sending off to be attacked by Wally Downs.......now us older Blades know a little of this guy.

The biggest thug ever to play in a Blades shirt by far. Check his record if you don't believe me.

According to Keith Edwards it was all Warnock.......

Sorry but you are a bitter person Edwards!

Tell the truth.

Even watching the game at the pub we could see what was happening. Bad Tackles and dives, especially from Lita, all over. The tackle on strech monty was dire, Hunt had no intention for the ball just the player.

From what i could see Warnock did nothing wrong, Downes went after him and Warnock just seemed to stand there. And as for Keith Edwards I've learned not to take notice of what he says. As soon as i saw warnock wasn't the major culprit on the touchline, i thought he would be blamed for it because of his reputation, seems keith has proved me right.

After what I saw today all I can say is Lita is a cheat!

But hey......other things will be reported.

Lita was a cheat at it all time!

and nade was in there quick when it kicked off geary did the right thing and stayed sat on the bench!

Lita is a diver. Hunt is a c*n*. We were pretty crap and Gillespie is an idiot. Wally Downes deserves a long ban from the bench but will probably get off with it because it was Warnock he went for and our Neil has a 'reputation'.

Oh, and I hate Reading fans and aren't looking forward to work on monday.

Think that about sums it up.

Interesting the reputation that some people have, the way they are then perceived and how this influences reporting and coverage. The dour but articulate and intelligent Coppell has a saintly reputation amongst those who cover the game, consequently the media highlight the progressive football and amazing progress at Reading. No mention of the cheating, nasty little git that is Hunt, or the blatant diving and play-acting of Lita. If Saint Coppell didn't approve they wouldn't do it.

Contrast all this with the more volatile, passionate and, it has to be said, less intelligent Warnock!! Ah well, such is the media!!

Don't get carried away Andy, you're sounding like a Warnock lover now!

:D :D :D

And Coppell has "no problem with what Wally Downes did". So it's ok to charge out of your technical area and assault a visiting manager? If you say so mate....

Imagine the reaction if Warnock had said that.

From what I've been reading Keith Edwards was saying on Radio Sheff, the man should be sacked as our summarizer unless he apologises and admits he got it wrong. Warnock has claimed the referee confirmed he heard what he was saying when he made the kicking gesture, which would clear him of what Edwards claimed. Bad enough when other pundits like to have a go at us, worse when it's our own ex-player and legend. :(

Oh Dear, I was out with the kids and turn on the radio and all I get is more controvesy surrounding our manager. I dont know what happened I wasnt there but it would be nice for us to be in the news for how we played. From what i gather though it was not good.

The lads on Jimmy Hill's Sunday Suplement were at pains to point out that as soon as everything kicked off, NW could been seen at the far left handside of the screen away from all the trouble.

Not really funny I know, but we were pissing ourselves at Nade's reaction last night - trashing the dugout to defend his team. Not the actions we need, but you have to admire the loyalty :)

I think it was disgusting what that reading staff did(dont know his name) but to go into the other teams technical area and push them is just wrong but as usual warnock will get the blame, just wrong as warnock didn't do anything

There would have been uproar Steve!

But as usual Warnock will get blame some how for this, and again our club will be punished for fuck all!

ahving seen the replays warnock didnt even do that much, once he was pushed he didnt do nothing apart use a hand gesture to say calm it down, but he will be the one in trouble and keith as he should for an idiotic thing to do and then to walk up and do it again was just stupid.

Keith edwards thought warnock had made a gesture to kick the reading players, he hadnt seen the replas. He made a mistake.

He never said warnock should be sacked.

Where does it say he did?

Berks says that because of what Keith Edwards said, he should be sacked.

Having watched the whole match again last night.

I didnt see warnock really do anything apart from help keef go down the tunnel. Then warnocks stood there and Wally the wanker runs towards him and starts pushing him. The only reason i can think that kicked it off was something warnock was saying to keef at the time. Not sure what was said but thats surely what kicked it off. For once it dosnt look like warnock is guilty but we dont really know what warnock was saying it the time.

I think Warnock might just get away with it rightly so for once, because he commented later on that he had no problem being sent to the stand and could understand why. Downes is just one of Ternent's old assistants who just wanted to even it up with our Neil, and assaulting him is bang out of order, if the FA can't get this one right, they need shooting.

Since when have they got anything right ? I expect warnock to get a 3 game ban and a fine.

That's just him repaying us for all the chanting we have done for him :D

The only reason i can think he got sent to the stand is for complaining about one of the "tackles"

What a load of shit

Was just about to post this too.....

Daily Mirror is the worst paper in the world. Doesn't look at any facts, just makes a few stories up.

He has got a suspended 3 match ban on his head though.

So if the FA, in their normal wisdom, decide he's guilty it could mean a 6/7 match ban.

Not read the article but I reckon that sounds about right, you know. He's got a suspended ban from the Leeds game so if he's found guilty of anything, that ban has to be served.

EDIT - beat me to it Steve!! :D

thing is though, if he gets anything but commended for not reacting, it's a disgrace.

But it seems Warnock got banished for nothing. I suppose we need to await Halsey's report.

Of course, I'm in total agreement. Just that the Mirror (contrary to their trend!) have a story actually based on fact! :D

Its suggest the 10-match is stretching the truth a little, but I was actually refering to the rumoured decision as a "load of shit" :) I realise now however that this doesn't read exactly how I meant it :)

I favour the mirror today, I have a free sticker album which makes me reminisce, the times on the other hand!
