Just a warning to Ball_Sup (Phil) and other collectors of Blades paper. I have ordered and received the physical copy of the round up programme for the rest of this season's home league fixtures. When starting another thread I posted the link to Tottenham programme free download on the club website. After having a brief perusal I noticed that the online edition differs substantively from the contents of the 'round up' programme. Although there is some overlap, the cover is different (it's specifically for the Spurs game) and the content differs substantially too. If you click on the online screen and go to the top left hand corner, you can download this online programme for free and print it for your programme collection. I imagine that the club will be doing a unique online programme for each individual league game.

Thanks, on behalf of Carrier Baggers everywhere, for the heads up nopigfansintown. However, I am contractually obliged to point out that I am very much an observer, head shaker & chronicler of the Pursuit Of Obscure Paperwork (POOP). Meaningless Bits Of Paper (Programmes, Teamsheets, etc) hold no fascination for me personally. It all goes in The Bin for me. But, your info is very welcome nonetheless.

I'm sure just a like click would've been much less patronising and more grateful.

You do realise the Carrier Bag Firm is a fictitious Parody Firm, which I use to generate advertising revenue on Social Media don't you? Appearing patronising is part of the Parody Strategy that keeps us afloat.

I see this thread has come to life again. With a contribution from CBF Royalty Sharrowblade
If you haven't got his SUFC Programme Site in your favourites, what are you doing with your life....?

Ah Phil, I'm going to have to take issue with part of your statement.

I cannot ever claim to be CBF, I have never carried a carrier bag in my life apart from that time I bought a Rubik's cube at Carlisle United.

I cannot ever claim to have the energy and determination of their members in their pursuit of paper products.

You will never find me mugging some old dear at Bishop Auckland for a Youth Cup Ticket, kidnapping one of the U18s for exchange of a teamsheet, or creating a diversion to get upstairs at Oxford United (No..I take that back, I did do that),

Obviously, I am acquainted with the CBF, a fine body of men, as I'm sure you will testify to....but I'm a lone wolf.

On another note thank you for the kind words about the website. Keep an eye on it in the near future as I will be adding the Academy Teamsheets Home and Away from the first 5 seasons (2001-6). May be of some interest to you.

Cheers Sharrow.

Well Sharrowblade you say that. But. There is a person I know. Who bought a job lot of assorted SUFC Programmes and Paperwork at an auction. In sorting & filing those artefacts, he found he'd bought an (expired) invite to my 50th Birthday Party. Which had been preserved by a Blade Grandee. That purchaser was YOU. Mate, you don't choose the CBF, the CBF chooses you......

Did said Grandee file the invite away and wash his hair that evening?

Au Contraire Philip, in the shady and mysterious world of the CBF, I believe that you're not allowed to drink girlie tipples, such as Lager, no matter how strong.
You Must be in a possession of a Carrier Bag on matchdays (the older the better), have an infinite knowledge of all trialists ever to play for the reserves, and the ability to rifle through dustbins at Fleetwood for search of a used ticket.

Therefore, I conclude that I'm not a member of the 'Inner circle'.

On the subject of your 50th birthday invitation, that is true, it was found wedged between a pair of Mickey Speight's shinpads and a Cheque for £10 which was for Shred's Blades Superdraw.

Good news for us programme collectors for next season.

Warning for anyone wanting the program for the Wolves game. Need to order in the next 15 minutes

Just posted on another thread, got a box full of 08/09 programmes if anyone is interested
